- Positive experience with classmates and colleagues during fest and extra curricular activities.
- The staff is always available for their students and they are very supportive
- Campus has a lot of facilities such as well-eduipped laboratories, library, canteen, etc.
Dislikes
- The infrastructure of the college was outdated and some areas are still under construction.
- Teachers tend to skip or rush the syllabus at the end of the semester or when the exams are upcoming shortly.
- The administrative process is still frustrating, involving a lot of paper work, which I think needs to be digitalized.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose Compueter Science because it was a booming field after Covid. There are in all about 8-10 faculty members in the entire computer department. All the faculty members are well educated but are not able to make the teaching methods engaging and interesting. Term exams happen twice in every year.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for placements from the 1st semester of their 4th year. Students get places in placement drives from companies such as TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Bitwise, Capgemini, Amdocs, etc. with an average package of 4Lakh per annum. The highest package bagged by a student was of 35Lakh, but he did it from an off-campus drive.Near about 70-80% of students get placed from the campus placement drives.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees is 1Lakh for open category students. 50Thousand for OBC and TFWS students. And near about 700Rs for ST students. To avail the category benefits students have to apply for their respective scholarship policy on the aaplesarkardbt website.
Campus Life
Annual fest takes place in the month of April or May. There is a library with a wide range of books available. We have a smart computer in our class, this facility is available for computer students only. There's a small ground for cricket and volleyball.
Admission
You have to opt for MHT-CET and based on your rank and percentile score you can check which field you can apply for. All the admission details such as form, fees, and application dates can be found on the official website of the college.
