CTES is a pioneer institute in the architectural field, it takes responsibility in making every student a responsible architect with skills and knowledge and wisdom. it is also a great hub for the development of knowledge and research.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is the standard one as fixed by the Council of Architecture. Three major parts of the curriculum are design, obviously, history of architecture, this is mostly theory and technology, this is where the numbers come in.
Placement Experience
No placements are conducted at CTES for the time being. We are however required to perform internship under firms or an architect during our 8th semester, we gain experience during that time. Some of us go for higher studies and some find jobs in firms as this is a reputed college and students are recognized well.
College Events
Our college celebrates many festivals including the national holidays like Independence Day and Republic day. Foundation day, international yoga day and the annual fest called Archinova, this is the anticipated event of an academic year.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee is quite affordable when compared with other institutes, it is RS 1,46,200 per year inclusive of some other fees apart from just the tuition fee, development fee, library fee, NASA fee are included in that amount. The tuition fee is Rs. 1,05,200 per year.
Campus Life
Students here are allowed to choose their own extracurricular elective, which is pretty cool, we find other passionate stuff apart from just the academic one,s, the electives are architectural journalism, urban studies, materiality, street art and many more.
Admission
I scored 60% on boards and 42% in NATA (NATA is mandatory for admission). The minimum score in boards must be 50% with math as one of the primary subjects. Application is to be downloaded online and sent back with a fee of Rs. 800 for general category and Rs. 600 for others.
Faculty
Our faculties both core and visiting are well-qualified in their fields, some have professional experience. They share with us those experiences. The classes are very interactive, they are very impartial and approachable.
