Remarks
CTES is the first ever architecture college to be founded in the suburban area. The well-structured courses and curriculum produce successful candidates along with the help of the faculty and management.
Course Curriculum Overview
CTESCOA (CTES council of architecture) has designed a five-year-old successful program for architecture. It is the same framework as Mumbai University. There are three categories in the curriculum: 1. History and theory 2. Design 3. Technology
Placement Experience
Our college does not provide placements, for now, placements in an architecture college are rare. But, the education given here makes us ready for any challenge, be it higher studies, which most of them prefer, or job hunt. In the eighth semester, however, the students have to do internships.
College Events
We celebrate a lot of events here at CTES. Some of them are the annual festival called Archinova, this happens every year without fail, this is a technical fest for architecture students. We have many community engagement activities.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees are feasible by most, if not students loans can be obtained. The fee structure is as follows: 1. Tuition fee- Rs. 1,05, 263 2. Other miscellaneous fees- around Rs. 40,000 3. Per year- Rs.1, 46, 223
Campus Life
We have some extracurricular elective subjects like, photography, communication skills, Bonsai, sculptures, InDesign, dance. These are the subjects that are open for the student's choice. We have frequent study trips too.
Admission
I had to write NATA, as it is mandatory for all the architecture admissions in India, I scores 60% the minimum is 40% for NATA and 50% for boards with math as a compulsory subject. The application is to be filled online, and a fee of rupees 800 is to be paid during that.
Faculty
The faculties here are gems. All of them are well-qualified and full of knowledge, they keep the class lively and creative as possible. A bunch of visiting faculties are there, they are also well-qualified, their lectures are very informative even though we get to hear them once in a while.
