My college has a small but clean infrastructure. It does not have ac though as it believes in sustainability. Fests aren't of that large scale but it is on us to make the most out of it.
The people are very friendly. The faculty is great and makes you feel confident. There is no barrier between juniors and seniors, everybody talks to everyone and hangs out.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The academic load is there but if at any point we have any difficulty in not completing the assignments, the faculty is understanding. It does affect the marks but you can always improve. The teaching schedule is planned and given to us. One main thing is that we started designing our own structures in first sem itself with plans elevations and sections and models of it. While the other colleges haven't done that.

Class Size : 30Course Fees : INR 500000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

In architecture colleges there is no such thing as placement. We have to find out on our own but the college does recommend firms you can apply in based on your academics and personality since the faculty knows you personally. The avg internship salary is around 6k inr.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There are many scholarships for the ones who need it. If your income is below 8,00,000 then you get 50 percent of the fees back. Then there are concession in fees according to the caste systemm there are many options. And 1 lac per annum is very affordable as compared to other colleges

Campus Life :

The annual fest is held in dec/jan. It is not on a very large scale. It is only amongst the students. Library has everything and the librarian is amazing as well. There is a projector in every classroom and individual lockers as well. The turf is available at all time so when free we can go.

Admission :

The course requires science field in 11th and 12th. And you need to give nata or jee main paper 2. Then qualifying exam score is divided by 2 + board percent. If you have 120 in nata then 120 divided by 2 is 60 plus board percentage is your merit score.

Faculty :

Due to less number of students, we get personal attention from the faculty and almost all the faculty knows us personally and knows our weakness and strengths. If there's any doubt at any point of time, we can reach out to be and they never turn us down.

The course curriculum in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness is very good. I wanted to do something to do with technical and design background so I choose architecture field. There is overall 8 exams conducted per year per semester 2 , one is midterm and another final .

Life at SMEF's BRICK School of Architecture

Course Curriculum Overview:

The aspects that I considered were the fusion of design and engineering in this course which led me here. The curriculum is very practical and it does prepare you for real world. The teaching methods are very hands on . The exams aren't even that stressful to worry about. We just worry about our submissions.

In Architecture colleges there will be more expenses because we have to do so much work as models,etc. In Architecture colleges all the stationery is very expensive. Positive Remarks are those In college we can't get bored because there are lectures which are out of the college.

All in all the college is good. The knowledge of faculties is the main reason to opt for college. The only negative about the college is its connectivity from the rest of the city. The college is way off the main city and most of the time goes in traveling.
