Life @ UPES

The course structure was light and helpful in terms of the specialization we choose. We were given insights from the industry to make us understand it better. The 3 years of our course was chilled as well as informative.

The college provides us with internships but we also have an option to get the internships our ownselves. If a student is unable to get an internship then it is the responsibility of the college to get him an internship.

The main event in the college was Uurja which creates a lot of buzz and excitement among the students. There's also another event but it is mainly for the tech students. But an student can participate in the events.

Expensive fee structure. But the facilities provided are worth it. If a student can't afford it then the college has some financial plans to help the students with the fees. The overall experience and facilities provided by the college is excellent.

The labs and extracurricular activities were impressive. We were provided with every equipment needed. There were many cultural clubs and societies which the students can join and participate in if they have any interest.

Never opted for hostel. But I have heard the facilities provided were feasable. The rooms were maintained and security was strict. There were also shops inside the campus so that the students live in convenience.

I got into the college through the process of GD and PI. There was a counselling session of students with their parents before the interview process to make us understand and clear our doubts regarding the course. We were also given detailed information about the options and courses at UPES so that we can choose the course of our interest.

The faculties were qualified for the course and had an experience of working in industry in the past, which turned out to be very exciting for us to learn about the actual process and learnings from them.
