Its ok. It has internal exam and final exams along with practicals. Same as school. The classes start at 8 in the morning and run till 5 in the evening with lunch breaks in between, This is from MON to sat where Sat is dedicated mostly for labs and seconds half is also dedicated towards labs.

Placement are decent for computer science but other braches don't get good placement. Other Branches struggle getting IT jobs as core Jobs are not much lucrative. If in computer Science it can get you places in top companies but for the same position the same company will pay more to other Top Tier colleges. +

Expensive. This is one of the expensive college in India. To support the expensive fees it provides a good infra, labs and classes that are well maintained with good ventilations. This place is expensive but you did not get into IIT or NITs so can't compalin much.

The college provides scholarships to student who can provide can provide proof of income below a threshold. Other scholarship are provided to student who are in top 1000 in the entrace exams and are required to maintain certain gpa tp avail it.

Hostels are really good and the prices varies depending upon what type of accomodation you choose. Ranges from normal non ac hostels to fully furnished ac single rooms, attached bath and toilet. The infra is good and provides options to everyone.

No, the alumni are not well connected so how much helpful they will be once you connect can't be fully told. The only ones from the same batch that you have kept a connection are the ones you will know. It is Unlike other Tier 1 colleges where alumns are connected well.

Average some are good though and supportive. The faculty is not that great but few are inspiring and will help with reseach. Finding such faculty early on is tough. The faculty are more inclined towards college carriculum rather interest in research.
