Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum focuses on the specialization and occasional guest lectures are comducted as well. The course although is very hectic. A day full of classes from 9am-8pm with just 2 hour break in between and Assignments on top of it. The exam structure consists of jurys which are comducted.
Placement Experience
The placements and job opportunities are quite good. All the high and known brands and companies visit the college for their recruitment process. We are given the freedom to work or intern in any area of our interest in the fashion industry which is what I appreciate.
College Events
There are a lot of events celebrated in the college according to the occasion or festivals. But the main even that is conducted over all the Nift campuses of the country is SPECTRUM. The event is conducted in February and creates a lot of buzz and excitement among the students.
Hostel Facilities
Never availed hostel facility. The campus hostel is not a place I would prefer to live in honestly. There is hygiene issues and even the canteen food is not upto mark. Which was taken in consideration by the administration and the necessary steps have been taken to improve the mess facilities.
Admission
Through the process of GD and PI. There was an entrance exam conducted first. After which students were shortlisted according to the cutoff marks and then called for the process of GD PI. After which the students were called for counseling and got the Nift campus according to their merit rank.
Faculty
The faculty of our college are experienced in their field of work. And make constant efforts and attempts to make us more aware of the industry we are going into. They try to make sure to prepare us the best they can for facing it head on.
