Remarks

The college is good but I will suggest to keep it on 2nd preference and try for a government college near your home. As you are not allowed to move out of the campus, you can only go shirpur a village nearby 3 times a month.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

The course here is very lengthy, especially for the MBA tech course. In it, we have 7-8 subjects in one semester. There are 2 internal exams mid-term 1 and mid-term 2 held at the gap of 1 month of 10 marks each and end term exam of 100 marks.

Placement Experience

2.5

The placement is ok. College claims 100% but I don't think it would be. In the last batch, the highest package was 35 LPA for MBAtech and 12lpa for BTech. This college is not good for BTech the placement is very less here.

College Events

3.5

The events celebrated in our college are:- YSF, Ambiora, protsahan, flavium, and TEDx. there are also small sports tournaments held in the monsoon. Some festivals are also celebrated here. The main festival is Ganesh Utsav held for 5 days in which various completions are held.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is feasible for MBA tech as we can do MBA from the brand name NMIMS. The fee is also good concerning the facilities provided here. We can say our campus is a small town as most facilities are available inside the campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no scholarship or loan facility in this college. The student has to pay the full amount on his own or his family has to take some loan from a bank. Even there is no scholarship for college toppers also.

Campus Life

4.5

There are many opportunities for extracurricular activities. Students can participate and play sports after their classes. There is a well-equipped gym with a gym trainer having different timings for 1st 2nd and 3rd 4th year.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

The hostel here is good only for the 1st year because 1st-year students are kept in a new hostel, a 5star having a very spacious room. For seniors, the room is better than other college hostels. The rooms are small as compared to the new hostel.

Alumni/Alumna

There is a mixture of seniors. Some are good and some are bad. Some will help you in your projects and academics while some seniors behave very rudely and believe in ragging. You have to search for the seniors who can help you and guide you.

Admission

I got admission to this college through entrance exam Npat after the result we were called for counseling according to our merit and then we were requested to chose the course and stream subject to availability.

Faculty

2.5

The faculty here is ok. Only some faculties are good. Some professors are very strict as they even don't give marks in internals. Sometimes the topic they taught are not understood and even they get confused.

Placement Experience:

In my college students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester and every year many companies come for hiring. Recently companies like TCS Accenture Cognizant Hitachi JSW Group Philips Axis Bank and some startups also visited so we get both IT and core chances. As per the latest data the highest package was around 24 LPA and the average stays around 6 to 6.5 LPA for most students and the lowest offers start from 3.5 LPA so it depends a lot on the role and company. Many students get placed but it mostly depends on skills performance and branch so it is not guaranteed for everyone. I feel the college gives decent chances but we also have to do our own preparation because competition is high. If I dont get placement from campus then I will try off campus also because there are many openings outside specially in IT. Overall placements are good for this level college and since companies keep coming for drives students who prepare properly usually get at least one offer.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Practical v/s theoretical balance: Labs, workshops and real world projects are a core part of the structure, especially in engineering, design, and science programs. CIA like case studies, presentations, and assignments encourage hands on learning. However, in some programs, there is a still heavier focus on the theory, so students must actively seek extra learning resources

Students become eligible for campus placements once they enter 3rd year of college. Some notable companies that visit the campus is nomura, walmart, amazon, nvidia and they take 5-6 candidates each while nomura takes 15-16 per year. The highest on campus is 43 lakhs while off campus is around 1.4cr. average package is 14-15 lpa mostly for swe roles. Percentage student getting placed is 50% oncampus and if we add off campus the number goes to 80%. I plan to work in the industry for 2-3 years and then try to go for masters.
