Good college experience

A well research driven course curriculum formulated by VTU (Visvesvaraya Technological University) for the course of MBA is followed here. Since the duration of the course is 2 years, the structure of the course is distributed in 4 semesters covering every aspects of Business Administration with facilities like Communication Lab, Language Lab and more. It focuses on concepts of industrial leadership, SPSS training for competency building human resource management, etc. Final examinations are conducted at the end of each semester to assess the learning of students.

?The placement department of the college is well equipped and organize pool campus drives for many companies. Regular talks by industry professionals are also conducted. We are made to develop technical and soft skills that will prove to be beneficial to the industry as well as to our own career. Some of my seniors who didn't get any placements on campus were also provided assistance by the college for off campus placements. The companies which visit the college for recruitment are Pinnacle, IBM, Unisys and many more.

The total fees for MBA is Rs. 1.25 lakh approximately that is distributed over the course of 2 years. The fees is quite feasible and easy on pocket, keeping in mind the facilities provided to us like language lab, communication lab and such eminent professors. All in all, it's a feasible course.

Many extracurricular activities and seminars are organised for students across all the courses. We are provided with facilities like well equipped and air conditioned AV lab, hostel facility, auditorium, canteen, computer lab, library, etc. An education festival is also organised annually. Along with it the college also provides sports and transportation facilities.

?I got admission in this college through counseling by giving the Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET). Few of my friends also got admission through Management Quota. I am currently pursuing MBA in the college and for that a minimum eligibility criteria of 50% in graduation is required. It is a well equipped college which balances studies and extracurricular activities which made it an ideal college choice for me.

The faculty of the college is well educated and quite experienced. Some of them have research backgrounds and hold expertise in the subject they're teaching. They are patient and are ready to solve any of our queries even after the lecture timings. Often they tell us ongoing trends and provide us with an insight to the working of the industry with their experience. We are quite satisfied with their teaching pattern.
