Entrance Preview

To do M Tech from here one has to clear GATE with at most 2500 All India Rank. After clearing the GATE exam the admission procedure is taken care by CCMT. One has to go through CCMT procedure and get admission.

Internships Opportunities

Few Reputed companies came in institute and they offered internship for one semester with 30000 per month internship. Apart from this you will get 12400 Stipend from MHRD for the 2 year of your M Tech.

Placement Experience

In second year of your M Tech you will get lot of opportunities to get into some industry. But most of the M Tech students prefer to go for PhD. 80% student of my batch including me are in IITs for there PhD.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees was 40K per semester which includes food and living expenses. This fees can be arranged with the stipend we get (12400 per month) .

Fees and Financial Aid

M Tech students get 12400 Per month, PhD Students get 25000 per month.

Campus Life

The campus is in natural hilly area having good weather in every season. It is more than 300 Acre campus having all games grounds. Institute is having 4-5 clubs.

Exam Structure

There is one mid semester and one end semester exam. But faculty can have surprise quiz in between the lectures anytime so one have to be prepared everyday. The evaluation is based on relative ranking.Labs are there in almost half of the coarse.

The IT course here offers 2 tracks or specializations, one is in "smart mobility systems engineering" and the other is "intelligent information systems engineering". The former covers cryptography and cyber security aspect and the later is a bit more AI/ML focused. The curriculum helps students understand how verious ML algos. work and why do they work.

Placement Experience:

The placement starts coming at the end of 6th sem or beginning of 7th. You can expect around 15-20 companies to visit. Recently there have been visits by carwale, quantiphi, cognizant, Cape Gemini, Infosys, Kfintech, TCS. All of them had their packages in the range 6-8 lpa. Highest packages reach around 20LPA for a handful of students as one of a good company might visit Like Intuit, Zscaler, Deustche Bank While obviously some students crack off camps and recieve even better options 60-70 percentage of students can get placed here My plans are doing Masters incase I don't get a good enough job.

There are lots of student apply for placements once in a time few got placed but company like tsc capgemeni took mass hiring from college. In 7 or 8 semesters students was allowed to sit in placemnet. Studnets are placed in company got joinning in short perioud of time abd they also provide offer letter to them. Placement Experience:

In the placement drives student can be eligible in the last semester of the course and there is no particular company that visit regularly because the college has no tie-ups with the companies but management tries to conduct the placement drives with random companies. who offers a maximum of 180000/year. So every year about 25% students get placed in the placement drives.

Life as a Student of IIITDM Jabalpur

I wanted a National college which should be government, according to my rank in JEE Mains I was getting other Nits and iiits and also some state government colleges but i preferred this because it is in my home city jabalpur No i didn't got any rejections i applied to because this college was my fiest priority and according to my interest.
