Brutally honest

Mtech curriculum at Uec was moderately relevant and academically strong but in need of modernization.. In mp in uec onmy we have environmental management course that was the reason to choose uec. They should add more hands on module..Exams were moderate in difficulty.

Placement is not quite good .From 3rd semester student become eligible for placement.In my batch only 3 company visited and hardly 5 to 6 placement were made.Highest was 8.9 and lowest was 2.My plan is to work on good sectir where i can grow

For Mtech -I did my mtech from uec ujjain mp. - 1st year fees was approximately 24k 2nd year fees was approximately 22 to 24k. Therefore the total fees structure for mtech (non gate) was approx 55k to 56k..There hasn't been any hike in fees structure.I personally didnot receive any scholarship for mtech. For BE- I did it from takshshila institute of Engineering and Technology jabalpur mp. I got tuition fee favour.. For every year I had to pay somewhere between 10k to 14k.

My overall experience was good,social life was fine.I was not involved in any club.I dont remember Its fest name as of now.Sport and extra curriculum was quite decent..we had good stock of book im the library

I choose uec because it is govt college and has good reputation and had very affordable fee.I applied to various govt college through mpdte counselling but got uec so chosen that. Admission occur through mpdte counseling

Faculty to student ration was 1:10,which was quite balanced in mtech courses.Faculties were quite approachable. I liked my Hod Dr.Anjanj kumar dwivedi.He was very supportive for my research work.Lokendra singh thakur sir is also one of the most approached faculty there. No I liked all my faculties although some of them were strict . We have to give all 4 semester examsand in last semester we just have to submit thesis.. Many student failed to complete only 15 to 18 student managed to complete Mtech.

Night life around UEC was fairly quiet and limited as it is located in peaceful area away from city .Popular hangout places are MAHAKAL temple,kalbhairav temple,shipra river front,sandipini ashramand many more
