The university was established in 2009 through central universities act. Dr. Hasmukh Adhia is the current chancellor and Rama shankar dubey is the vice chsncellor of the university. It has a large and lush green campus.
Course Curriculum Overview
Courses available are applied material sciences, chemical sciences, education, environment and sustainable development, international studies, language, cultural studies, life sciences, nano sciences, national security studies and many more.
Placement Experience
Job opportunities are in the field of research, lecturership, banking etc. Most of the students are placed as post doctoral fellow in USA and India after their P.hd. Those who become assistant professors earn 50000 rupees a month.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee is quite affordable for anyone. BA fee is about 4000 per annum course duration 3 years.M.sc. and MA fee is about 5000 per annum course duration 2 years. P.hd. in chemical sciences is about 15000 per annum.
Campus Life
Various days like yoga day, teacher' s day etc are celebrated every year. The college actively participates in inter college sports tournaments. Debates and quizzes are held frequently. Most of the students are from Gujarat and nearby states.
Admission
I had given central university common entrance test and got admission in this college through counselling process. One has to show all the intermediate certificates and marksheet to complete the admission process.
Faculty
The faculty members are cooperative and helpful. They are well qualified and experienced in their respective subjects. Counsellings and doubt sessions are held by them from time to time. They also help the students to get internships.
