What Students Say

Likes

Jumping and bumping campus with almost all the facilities be it gym, indoor sports or outdoor sports everything is available at our college.
Nicest crowd as over 4 schools of different branches and the variety of students that our college has is next level.
Our BA program itself as over 7 specializations and all related to security management.

Dislikes

We have every facility apart from AC hostels and that's an issue as Gandhinagar is way too hot during April.

Course Curriculum Overview

Defense forces doesn't mean becoming a soldier and i wanted to be strategically invested with that and our course makes us adept with that. Hende, I am studying this and since it is incomparable as none means none colleges offer this course.

Class Size: 53Course Fees: INR 51000 per year

Placement Experience

It's the armed wings or forces where we are generally placed as our college is under governance of central government. So we are prepared that way and that is where we got jobs at an opening salary of 30k or so.

Fees and Financial Aid

BA in security studies is something which only RRU offers and that too at a fees of just 51000. I don't think a robus course like ours will cost anywhere else and secondly no one even offers such a low price too.

Campus Life

Our university is full of events like in February we have our fest Navya and then during Navratri we have Rangratri where Navratri is celebrated. Other festivals are also celebrated at our campus but this is special as it is celebrated and participated by almost every single student.

Hostel Facilities

Rooms are non AC and at 1 lakh a year in which room rent and mess fees is also included we can't expect 5 star facilities. However, facilities and all are good but no attached washrooms and also no balcony in the room.

Hostel Fee: INR 102000 per year

Admission

I did take a drop as I was unsure on what to do. Thought of joining NDA or other defense colleges to get direct entry into the army but then this opportunity striked me and I prepared for RSET which is a mandatory entrance to get admission in RRU.

Faculty

I could barely finish a sentence as I had stannering issues so forget about the kind of teaching all my faculties have helped me get over it as well. Exams at RRU has a difficulty level of 9 out of 10 and our faculties also don't believe in giving any freebies as well.

Night Life

Our campus most things are opened till late night like one of the canteens remain open till midnight. Sports facilities till 11 pm but hostel gym and recreation room are opened till 1 am. Our auditorium is where important matches stream live and that is how life at campus is spent.

Off late I have been reading and watch a lot of social media influencers making content on geopolitics. So, this is how it is and I also want to do the same and this is my plan. Campus placement in such field are often tough as such fields are not the ones which are developed from ages, possessing a traditional aspect. They are the ones which are developing higher and definitely the job employment in such a budding field aim to achieve a rise in the upcoming ages. Yes, the placement rate can be low but definitely the field is promising if one prioritises growth, development and learning. Placement rate can be termed around 60-70% with monthly payment of 40-50000 rupees.

Life at MSU

Course Curriculum Overview:

In BA psychology, the course offers specialization in one subject and there were options such a clinical, industrial, sports, counselling and educational psychology. For grant in aid programme, only clinical, Industrial and counseling psychology is available as options. For Higher Payment programme, all options were available. There is no difference in grant in aid and higher payment except for fees and specialization options. Teachers are same and classroom are same. And HPP exams are held in the department of psychology while Grant In aid exam are held in different departments as per subject.

RRU University is best in class!!

Cut-offs are into three dimensions. Firstly, 12th marks, then entrance score and finally the physical test score. So, all three scores are taken into account and after that an interview and then the final admissions.
