Remarks

College management is fine, just they have to improve the sports department and the they should give preference to that.

Entrance Preview

The exam was COMEDK and scored a rank of 2441. Since, my preference was Mechanical Engg. and I found that this was the best for the branch.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum was good and followed U.S.A. credit system. It is well planned and executed so that there is not much load on students. The content of each subject consist of basic principle combined with latest advances in that field.

Internships Opportunities

The college internship is good only for the branches such as Computer Science, Information Science, etc . They do promote the internship as making it compulsory for the students to do it and get their hands dirty in the industries.

Placement Experience

Placements and job opportunities are widespread. It's all your talent to grab it. Biggies such as Endurance, SAP Lab, Delloite, Mu Sigma, etc. Totally 980 students have been placed till now.

College Events

The college conducts various seminars from TEQIP in the latest advances in Science and Engineering. Culturally we have annual fest, departmental fests which comprises games, dance, quiz, etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

In comparison to other private colleges the fee structure is not too expensive. They charge 1.5 Lac per annum which comprises two semester excluding the hostel fees .

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship is provided by the Karnataka government and the Alumni associated of the college. All the scholarships are availed through the college only.

Campus Life

People here are of variety culture, class, society and religions. The sex ratio is 1450 which is very good as comparing it with India's situation. College has very intense cultural activities to unify and interact with all the varied culture at the same time.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel is well equipped in all respect. There was various types of sharing like single, double and quad. The cost decreases as the sharing decreases. Mess facility serves pure vegetarian food, hence taking good care of it's students.

External Expense: Rs.7000 - Rs.10000

Alumni/Alumna

They do help by donating money to the Alumni association and due come to college from time to time in order to share their experience. The senior students are very helpful.

Exam Structure

We have three internals for a particular semester and the average of best three is considered. That is only for 30 marks and rest 20 marks is for the professor to choose for student's evaluation for his/her point of view.

The faculty of my college is quite experienced and are thorough with the subject which ever they take up. They are helpful with doubts and never hesitate to answer beyond the curriculum.

Academic Curriculum- they constantly upgrade the subjects which needs to be taught
Labs - very well equipped labs for all branches.
You can choose to drop a lab and do it in winter break or summer break

Dislikes

very less holidays only 3rd saturday is holiday and they dont give holidays for jayantis and all
Auto drivers near the college. this is pure daylight robbery

Placement Experience:

From your 7th semester you become eligible to get placed and it is mandatory to get internship before you get placed which the college helps you to get and around 400-500 companies visit, and a good amount of offers are made by them. The average package stands somewhere around 11LPA -12LPA and the highest goes to 50LPA-60LPA and the median stands around 9-10LPA.

I have been from diploma background, after diploma I joined this course as later entry (direct admission to 2nd year). In diploma also, I have studied the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) course. As I know the basic concepts about this course, it is easy for me now to understand the concepts.

Faculties are highly experienced and ready to help all the time
Good infrastructure with well equipped labs, library, sports
Adds extra curricular activities like teaching AI and other trending topics in college

Dislikes

Washrooms need to be clean and good to use especially for girls hygiene it has to be good
Hostel food is not that great and needs improvement in the quality of food
Thought schedule everyday hard to cope up with everything

Good the teachers find the best ways to make the subject interesting and teach us in the most interesting way they will help the weak students to feel the subject as a cake walk and help all the students out in the same way

Infrastructure is well established and good

Only one playground for cricket and also remaining
security are very rude but some are bit friendly

Yes our college provide placements, from final year that is 7th semester they will allow for placements, Many companies visited our college like tcs, Cognizant, indegene, microland etc and average package is 400000 and highest is 1500000 it given by oracle, Nearly 60 percent students got that is either in both technical and non technical jobs, my plans to join a IT company

Campus Life and Social Interaction : Vibrant campus Life : The campus offer a dynamic environment with multiple student clubs , technicals societies , cultural fests ,and sports events students engaage in regular extracurricular activities.
Faculty Experience and Mentorship : Experienced faculty : The faculty at SVIT is often described as appreciable , knowledge, and supportive . professors are well - versed in there respective fields ,and many have industrial experience .
Placement support : Strong placement record: SVIT hasa good placement record ,with many students securing in top - tier companies like TCS , Wipro , Accenture, Infosys,. The college guidence through placement offers traning .

Dislikes

Collaborative Environment : Group project and assignment is core elements of curriculum with many course designed to involve group work and collaborative projects.
Cultural Activities : Are not celebrated more in semister
Collaborative learning : Communication barrier in larger teams especially working with different backgrounds or academic disciplines.

Placement Experience:

The placement at SVIT Bengaluru area quite impressive , especially in the technical field like Computer science, Civil, Electrical and Machanical Engineering.The college has a dedicated placement cell that students get the best opportunities for internship and final placement .At SVIT , Students typically become eligible for campus placement from the 7 th semester . However, the placement cell starts preparing students for interview and skill development from the 5 th semester onwards though mock interview , resume - building workshops , and personality development session.SVIT Bengaluru has strong industry connection , especially in the IT and engineering sectors .some of the companies that regularly visit the campus recruitment includes. TCS , Infosys , Wipro, Congnizant, Accenture,IBM, Capgemini ,Tech Mahendra , Amazon.High- package : The highest salary package offered in recent year was around 15 - 18 lakhs per annum for candidates . Average package: The average salary package offered is ar8 4- 5 lakhs per annum. The placement rates at SVIT is consistently high . On average , around 80-85% of eligible students get placed in good companies.

Less fees but wonderful knowledgeful experience

Caretaking, cleanliness, education, laboratories

Dislikes

Particular teaching subject wise was not so clear.
Placement training courses coding wise was not that good.
Water facility sometimes was not good but it was ok nothing to dislike

Placement Experience:

1. From 7th semester onwards placement activities start. But from 1st semester itself they start training. 2. Windcare, Rinexx, Wipro, Infosys, A1 fence, Microdegree, Intellipath and so on. 3. Intellipath offers 10 lakh per annum and so on. 4. 85 percent students where getting placed. 5. To start my own venture.

Good ranking of college among other private colleges of India
Best location of college in the silicon valley of India
Various opportunities of internship to students

Dislikes

Campus area of the college is less than expexted
Conditions of hostels and mess is not good
Teachers and professors are not good in explaining concepts to students

Placement Experience:

From the end of 6th semester students become eligible for campus placemets.Many companies visit the campus including Oracle, UI path, etc offering students interships and full time jobs.The highest package offered to the student is 50 lakh per annum from UI Path and the average package of CSE branch is around 10lakh. Nearly 93% of students are placed in various companies.My plans after graduation is to grab a good on campus placement and look forward to my other goals in my life.

An honest review

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.

I had also applied for RV College of Engineering but i got admission in M.S.Ramaiah Institute of Technology as i got the seat in this college during KCET allotment due to cutoff and rank variation i could not get it. Honest Review of Ramaiah Institute of Technology

RIT gives admission to students who belong to states other than Karnataka through the exam COMEDK. The eligibility of the course is minimum 65% in 12th grade and meeting the respective cutoff of the course you want to pursue.The application form can be found on the website www.comedk.org in the month of Jan or feb. The application fees of COMEDK is 1500 rupees. COMEDK exam is conducted once in the year on a given fixed date decided by the examination authorities.There are two shifts in the exam morning shift from 9 am to 12pm and evening shift from 2pm to 5pm. COMEDK asks 180 single choice questions out of which 60 are of physics 60 from chemistry and 60 of mathematics .COMEDK has a defined syllabus generally of 11th and 12th class.The questions asked in COMEDK range from easy to medium difficulty level.COMEDK does have negative marking scheme it gives +1 for correct answer and 0 for wrong answer....Read More
