Remarks

Its best college for Studying any stream that you are interested in management should also concentrate on extra curricular activities like theater and sports, these facilities are there but are rarely available to all students.

Entrance Preview

There wasn't any entrance exam, I scored 75.17% in 12th grade and got my name listed in BSc program fr V G Vaze College. This is a very reputed college, commonly known as Kelkar College it has best teachers in in all fields and specifically for Bio-tech and Chemistry its best college all chemistry teachers are Ph.D holders.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

Basically they tend to follow structures provided by University of Mumbai but the teachers also help students to engage themselves in various seminars and keep researching on latest trends to achieve better knowledge of streams that they are studying in.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, but I have no idea about other details requested you might have to reach out to HODs of specific streams to understand their eligibility criterions.

Placement Experience

5

They have a very competent placement cell, they bring companies from various different domains and try to engage all students to these placement drives, the facilities and opportunities provided are very good the best part about placement cell was preparation camps, they helped every student for appearing personal interviews.

College Events

2

Dimensions this is one of the biggest College festivals in Mumbai, It occurs for 2 days, normally during 22-23 December. DJ throughout the day, crowd from various colleges and much more fun, Annual Day - Dances, Orchestra and other programs, Days - Friendship day, Rose day, Color days.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Its very much feasible, It seems they receive government grant as well as they are subsidized by S H Kelkar, a very big fragrance firms in India the fees structure are as per University standards and for reserved categories its in hundreds per year fees are higher for Banking and Accounts or Bio-tech courses, those are some self financed courses.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are various scholarships that are available in this college, I personally haven't subscribed for any hence cannot comment on it but the placement cell makes it a point to introduce and inform about all the scholarships available to students.

Campus Life

5

Campus life was awesome with very much everyone from middle or higher middle class, Gender ratio was 60:40 with later relating to Male population all expected extra curricular activities were available in college, like cricket, tt, basket ball, competitions like e-informatics were held but nothing related to robotics as college didnt had an engineering arm.

Hostel Facilities

0.5

There is no hostel in college so no mess food quality review but there is a canteen which need improvement this area is very much overlooked by college and the staff here is also non co-operative the food items available are very much regular types so thi

Alumni/Alumna

There is no alumni network available or if there is any, at least I'm not part of it with so many people studying there it would be a great idea to have active alumni support, We only have a whatsapp group which helps us keeping in touch with our friends.

Exam Structure

They follow exam structure given by University of Mumbai, also one good part being there are exams that happen just few days after actual exams for students which fell ill or couldn't attend exams due to personal issues so just to elaborate they have year

Faculty

5

Its one of the best available in Mumbai, All Chemistry and most of others in other streams are Ph.D holders, they help students in every possible way. They keep a target for themselves and thrive to achieve it. During my course they kept a target of more

Course Curriculum Overview:

The first year curriculum connects SSC and HSC syllabus making easier to approach further. The course can be divided into two as aspects of application and academic first the general theory course of animals including phylum study and the another goes with lab work techniques making it suitable for higher studying in both lab and field work. The three year course must be provided with free subject choice as per the new education policy (no compulsion for physics and chemistry) Slight improvement in planning feel experience in field tours and outcomes. Do mostly well planned but sometime the exam schedule of different subject choices students in first and second year of course can make a difficult for on time study required before exam.

A few negative effects are debt, partying, sexual assault, missing family and friends, and stress. Positive effects are he/she gets a degree, makes new friends, becomes more diverse, most likely gets a good job after graduating, and helps he/she to become more independent and grow as an individual.
