Missing college days!

I feel I enjoyed my college life a lot. I still miss my college days.

I have not given any entrance examination. I chose BMS in order to make career in marketing. Marketing offers variety of job opportunities along with many other option to continue further studies.

The course was divided in 6 semester i.e 3 years. 1st year includes introduction to various subject in marketing. In 2nd year we studied the various subject important to run overall business. 3rd year includes specialization in marketing.

In BMS we do not have any internship particularly. However, we had Industry Visits, where we used to visit different industries from various sectors such as textile industry & Engineering industry.

We got good placement cell in our college. Godrej, Eclerx are some companies who visited our college for placements. I was placed in Eclerx & my other friends were placed in Godrej.

We used to have annual bash at our college. Also college used to held various festivals every year. We had also participated in college beautification project for painting walls & promote cleanliness.

Fee structure was not too expensive. It was feasible enough for students from all categories & students from low income group. Also special attention & concession was given for the poor & needy students.

I have not availed any loan facility or scholarship. However, college used to offer some Scholarship for needy and poor students.

I feel campus was excellent. We had gym & small hall for sports activities. Also college used to hold lot of competitions including sports & other competitions.

We had no hostels or mess. However, we had canteen where everyone use to eat & chill out. Canteen services were good enough & satisfactory.

We had good alumni network & senior students. We had get together once after college & senior students work hard for such events to make it memorable.

Exam structure was really good. Faculties always used to guide the students in order to make examinations stress free. Also all the faculties used to help students for exam preparations.

I feel the faculties were really good. We had experts from different fields such as international marketing & production management. The faculties were dedicated & used to offer guidance to all students in terms of career.
