It is a 5 year integrated course BA.LLB. (BA+LLB). The first 2 year the law subjects are easy and majorly you deal with BA subject. Post that its all law subjects. Being in an NLU the see you in & out of the legal fields, with regular moots, seminars, lectures, visits etc.

If you wish to get good internships or plqcements, a top NLU is a ticket you can always bet on. Top lawfirms seek professionals from such universities with good & in depth knowledge.

Curriculars- Moots, Seminars, Visits by professionals, Conferences, Paper Presentations etc. Extra-curriculars- Sports fest, Tedx, Cultural Fest etc. The semesters are usually packed, and one can choose any events of his/her choice. The student interaction is good and thus its always easy to get in & out of a campus organized event.

The campus life is full of fun. A student can choose his interest and their move accordingly. Passing of exams is a one night affair. The gender ratio is 60-40 of boys to girls. The curfew timing is 12 am for both boys & girls. Since students get admitted on the basis of National level exam, thus there is diversity among students and completely brotherhood & harmony. Plus the campus has free gym facility as well to add.

Yes, its mandatory to opt for a hostel facility. The hostels are luxurious with in room AC's. Further for the first 3 years its a double occupancy and later on you get your own room as single occupancy.

Since there are limited students approx. 800 in the entire university, thus the student interaction is good. You almost know all of your senior, and then its quite easy to figure out the seniors who might help you once they get placed or settled.

The admission is only thourough CLAT. Then delending upon your Rank you get admission in one of the 18 only NLU's. The application form starts thourough online mode, mid- january on the official website of CLAT. Since its quite mandatory for you to be in a good law college to be a professional, thus i preffered an NLU over anything else. Post the result of Clat you get into one of the NLU's, only if you've scored enough. Around 2000 aspirants get selected out of 50000 approx.

Being in an NLU is a sure certificate that the faculty is going to be a masterclass in their subjects, with the knowledge of both theoretical as well as practical approach to their subject. Most of the faculty resides in the faculty quarters, thus its quite easy to avail their help in off hours as well.
