Remarks

In short, it's a good engineering college where you can peruse any course with satisfaction. I am happy to be a part of this institute which will give me a bright future. The college provides us support to achieve our goals.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is very helpful for us. We are given the knowledge about all the subjects in our course. And also our respective teachers encourage us to take part in workshops, competitions, online courses, Hackathon. All these things do help to get good placements in good companies.

College Events

Many events are organized in this institution like cultural fest, tech fest, Freshers party, Hackathon, Different competitions, farewell party, webinars. Everyone participates in some of the events and enrich and showcase their talents. In the lockdown period also they have organized many events to make the students involved.

Fee Structure And Facilities

We pay our fees in online mode in our college. There is also a facility to pay the fees through the draft. The fee structure is feasible, not expensive. The total amount of courses in our college is not much more than the other colleges. The admission fees include 1st-semester fees.

I have not heard of any type of scholarship which is provided by the college till now. But they help us if we need to get any scholarship from outside the college.

The campus life in this college is amazing with a huge campus around us. One of the best things about this college is it's a ragging free campus. The classroom and lab classes are well organized. And in the view of CCTV cameras. They are many instruments for any lab projects. Also, we have a smart classroom as well. Every year GNIT arranges sports competitions also.

Our seniors and alumni are very helpful and encouraging also. They are always ready to guide us and help us to do any project, to develop our skills.

Admission

The degree in this engineering course opens up a wide range of exciting career opportunities. After giving my board exam and entrance exams I was a little bit confused to choose a good engineering college. Then this college's reviews help me to choose this college. After going through few reviews I came to know that this is one of the best engineering colleges. The placement is good. The faculties are well experienced and this college has a good infrastructure, I got admission through entrance exam. But there are also facilities for getting admission directly.

Faculty

Our faculties are well experienced and well qualified. They are very helpful and always encourage their students. We can clear all our doubts very easily with the help of our teachers. The number of lectures in any course are enough to complete the syllabus on time. They give us advices on how to improve ourselves to get placed in a good company.

Supportive Faculty - The professors are highly qualified, approachable and always willing to help students
Free wifi support - There are free wifi support for both student and faculty
Fee Structure - It is very affordable and low compared to other colleges in the region

Dislikes

Placement support is below average, and most studnets have to apply for off campus jobs independently, which is really pathetic in the era of ai where getting a job as a fresher is so difficult
There is no dedicated support or placment cell initiative to help studnets land meaningful summer internships or any kind of internships

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements starting from the 7th semester. For placement drives, we have to visit the main campus, Techno Main Salt Lake (TMSL). Since students from other Techno India campuses and branches also participate, the competition is extremely high. In the 2025–2026 academic year, fewer companies visited. Only two companies, Dronahost and WishCare, visited our specific campus directly. The remaining drives—mostly service-based companies like TCS and EY, along with a few startups—were conducted at the main campus. I liked the campus . Their people and faculties are too great , they are also helpfull
The other thing i liked here is the play ground where students play with full of their energy and many game events are organised ocationally

Bad benches , like benches are too small to be fitted in our class I

The faculty are well taught and the campus is very beautiful . The buildings are like newly bulid . and the campus is very clean.
In our branch the boys and girls ratio is almost 16:11.
The senior behave like a friend and they help us a lot and they also very supportive.

Dislikes

The college campus is too small compare to other colleges.
The college classes are not regularly held and the attendance system is not very good.
The classes are very boing and sometime it feels like aa school and the labs are not held timely.

Placement Experience:

our college average package is 600000 per Anum and highest package is 1800000 per Anum according to recent data. and 80% of student got placed . And wipro , windows, tcs , siemens , tata like companies come to our college for placement. Core students are also got placed but many of them goes for hihger studies.

Likes

Ragging free campus. Strict action are taken against those who found guilty.
Classrooms are well equipped and are spacious.
There are many fun events that happen in the college

Dislikes

The campus area is too small. The library is not good
The societies are fully controlled by students so huge partiality goes on.
Some of the teachers are mean and are not good.

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards , students become eligible for internships and stepping in 4th yr , students get eligible for campus placement. Techno provides decent campus placements according to your marks. Good marks also with skills get you better salary. Minimum 7.5 cgpa is mandatory to have you sit for campus placements. The lowest package is 3.4 LPA and highest vary but students also get 14LPA easily. Wipro, tcs ,cap ,gemini, amazon , ibm etc.

The campus is big and full of greenery with the vibrant feel of nature.
The students of the same batch are friendly and helpful.
The teacher's are friendly and helpful. They do provide helpful recommendations for the betterment of your future.

Dislikes

The seniors are overly harsh when it comes to 1st year.
The infrastructure could be worked on. The college lacks renovation.
The hostel does require everyday cleaning and renovation as well as the campus.

Placement Experience:

I don't know much about this but I guess from the sixth semester the students are eligible for campus placements. This year a student from AEIE got a package of 11.2 lacs per annum and the average is around 4 lacs per annum.

Excelent Campus-techno india university has a large campus with excelent facilities such as libraries,labs,seminar halls etc. Some students finds this facilitries useful

Time Management-the one thing that I disliked was their time management.They dont provide a proper shedule for exams,routines etc
Teaching Methods-some students feels that cirtain teaching methods(like a focus on lecture without without interactive learning or industry exposure) must be improved

Plans after getting the degree: My plans depends on placement.If I get a job of around 15 LPA then I will not do master degree and if I get job of around 4-5 LPA then I will do master for further great opportunities

I got selected into Jis kalyani, Guru Nanak, Brainware, SNU and Adamas University. The reason I chose this particular college is by checking their environment and their placement rates particularly in Btech, Another major reason for choosing this particular college was it's distance from my home, leaving me with a time to self study without exhausting myself everyday. I did get a rejection from Narula Institute of Technology Agarpara, and that was because of the booked slots already and besides my Wbjee score weren't that good to start with. The admission process is very simple yet effective. Firstly I had to call the admission officials and they gave us a date and asked us to meet them with few document such as my 10th and 12th marksheets along with my jee and Wbjee scores. Once we showed them our marks, they evaluated based upon my merit of 12th subjects and then I got a direct admission into the college. one could even get into the college through counselling if their jee marks are standard enough. the college takes your 12th, jee and Wbjee scores to get accepted in it and the overall admission experience was quite nice....Read More
