GNIT lets A step forward to Professionalism

The college is good and all the teaching, non-teaching staffs are indeed helpful. Seniors are friendly. It's near the Sodepur Railway Station on one side and on the other side it's also on BT road Dhankol Bus Stand. Boys and Girls Hostel facilities are available. Good and Hygienic canteen. Management is also good and is found whenever required.

Classrooms are designed for both digital and analogue classes. Well-equipped labs. The syllabus is updated at certain intervals and even special classes & seminars are arranged to upgrade our skills according to the market need. The college I visited by Reknown companies often.

There are many companies which hit the college including - TCS, COGNIZANT TECHNOLOGICAL SERVICES, AMAZON, ACCENTURE, TECH MAHINDRA, etc and so on. We need to go through many aptly exams and several screening test and finally coding exam to the HR interview.

Students from different colleges do participate in our Annual Tech Fest TESSERACT in March of Every year. Annual 2 day Cultural Fest Euphonious and Zyzzva are organized in large scale in February. Many National, International Conferences and Seminars are arranged throughout the year. Many Coding Competitions, Hackathons and Model Display Projects are arranged regularly.

BTech cost is 4,08000/- for 4 years. At the time of admission, it took 84,500/- including Admission fees, 1st Semester fees and Uniform & Bag. Exam fees have to be paid before each semester exams. Fees are paid Online except for the 1st 84,000/- which was paid through check. Yes, transparency is provided by the college in fee-breakdown.

I didn't avail any Education Loan for my course. But it is easily availed through any Banks, (private or govt.). You need to register yourself to the Vidya Lakshmi Portal for availing education loan and contact your concerned Bank for the further details.

The college has maximum facilities for a student to be around. Based on the gender ratio it can be clearly based on 1:4 ratio. The college has equal opportunities for all kinds of students irrespective of gender and never differentiates in field of activities like spirts, debates and many more. I believe inequality and the college agree with mine.

The Alumni Network is average in GNIT although we are encouraged by alumnus at several meetings and seminars. We even attain workshops of alumni and plan for our future.

Admission is availed through Entrance Exams both Jee Mains and WBJEE. I visited the college before admission and interacted with the seniors and the teachers and filled it's name in the E-counseling form. I was lucky enough to be satisfy their selection process.I've heard about GNIT in media and I'm fond of it's valuable alumnus.

We get sufficient lectures on the courses we are assigned in semesters. There are doctorate professors and assistant professors leading the students. Their skills and fields of expertise are unquestionable. Though we rarely get industrial lectures bit strict to the syllabus.
