Remarks

For my course the faculty is not very well trained like I have written before but having said that college has a remarkable record when it comes to placements and since many big companies come, the students have a chance of getting placd there and then developing their future further

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course is very well structured and consists of the things which are important in the day-to-day world right now like my course that is computer and communication engineering includes all the necessary stuff from the computer world and mixes it with the communication part which is very budding right now.

Placement Experience

4

There are number of companies which come and that includes some big Giants like Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Amazon and more of these. For the computer branches mostly everyone gets placed and some of them acquire an internship as well which can be converted to a pre placement offer.

College Events

4

There are two fests which happen. One is the technical one and the other is a cultural one both are equally exciting and contain a number of activities which can be done to showcase the talents of the students. Apart from the technical stuff the cultural one includes acting, dancing and many more activities which showcases and highlights the talents of the students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee is a bit high in my opinion mostly because this is a private institution. The mode of payments are many mostly it is thourough atom and some other forms of payment there is no Google pay right now there. Yes college has a transparent structure when you have to pay the fees and there is a proper breakdown which you can see and ask them and can hold them accountable for.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, the college offers scholarship opportunities to students who scored well in the entrance exam that they have. There is no eligibility criteria for that only that they have to secure a high rank and they get the scholarship. I didn't have that rank so I didn't get the scholarship for the test but I got to know it from a few friends who got it.

Campus Life

4.5

The campus life is really good. Manipal is a beautiful place to stay in the weather is really good the hostels are really good and is rich in diversity. There are students from all over the world coming to study there so you get to interact with them as well and grow as a person. The gender ratio is also write good compared to other engineering colleges in the country.

Hostel Facilities

4

Yes mostly people stay in the hostel and it is compulsory for the students in the first year after which they can shift to a flat somewhere nearby. The hostel rooms depends on the block you are in mostly the rooms are really good they have all the facilities. They consist of an attached bathouroom and can be single or double sharing upon your liking and the rental for that depends on the block as well but mostly is around 1 lakh for an entire year.

Alumni/Alumna

Manipal Institute of Technology has some really good alumini who are the leaders of some of the biggest organisations in the world including Satya Nadella who is the CEO of Microsoft, Rajeev Suri who is the CEO of Nokia mobiles and many others. The senior students there are really helpful and you can go to them for any discussion be it academic or some other things and they are always ready to help.

Admission

This was a reknowned institution and Manipal has a great reputation with some notable alumnus. There was an entrance test for 200 marks consisting of physics, chemistry and maths. There was no negative marking and it was a multiple choice question type of test

Faculty

3

The faculty is decently good like they know the stuff but they don't know how to teach exactly like they would be okayish in class but if you ask them in person they can existing the topic. Having said that there are some teachers who are excellent in the stuff they are teaching.

the placement rate says 100% but you have to be maintaining 7.25 cgpa in order to sit for the placements and they are classified into 1) mass recruiters 2) dream companies3) superdream companies for which you will need 9 and above cgpa. i personally am dependent on placement or i also am appearing for the GATE entrance exam in my 3rd year as well as my 4th year and will see where life leads me but honestly i just want to start working and gaibn indstry experience and make money and develop skills faster

They fake a lot of their placements....now the bangalore campus currently has 40%placements but they fake the placement rates to make it look like its 80 or 90% which is sad...i heard that if u have really bad marks and couldnt get placed(a lot of ece and eee people, cause they will purposefully try to fail u so that u can apply for the couse again) they will make u sign a document were u agree u never sat for placements.

Placement Experience:

Students at RVCE become eligible for campus placements typically from the seventh semester onwards. Several reputed companies visit the campus for recruitment, offering a wide range of job opportunities to students. Some of the prominent companies include Infosys, Wipro, TCS, IBM, and Accenture, among others. These companies make a significant number of job offers across various profiles, including software development, consulting, and research. The highest package offered varies from year to year and can range from ?10-20 lakhs per annum, depending on the company and the profile offered. The average package generally falls between ?4-8 lakhs per annum. The percentage of students getting placements varies, but RVCE has a consistently high placement record, with a significant majority of students securing job offers during campus placements. As for my plans after completing the degree, I aim to explore job opportunities in the field of industrial management, leveraging the skills an
