A pleasant environment to Study

Overall remarks is that the environment is really nice to study but then the infrastructure needs to improve in some areas

The course curriculum is very nice as it tries to help students learn in depth the core subjects and also provide electives that each student can personally choose according to his or her convince. They try to include new subjects that are trending into the curriculum every semester. They also consider students requests while preparing the subjects in the semester.

The placement cell is working very hard every semester so everyone who applies for the same gets placed. Almost everyone from circuit branches are placed every year and that is just because of the hard work the placement and training cell does. Many companies visit the campus every year. And the placement cell has got a very huge number of contacts with them.

Most of the popular events are celebrated in the college every year, along with some local festivals too. Only the national events are organised by the college authorities and the other events will be organised by student groups. The faculties are really supportive too and take part in the celebration.

The fee structure is based on the family annual income. This is set forward by the Government of India MhourD. The fee for the course is nil if you belong to a minority or backward in income. The second category is middle class having an income of 1lakh to 5lakhs you'll have to pay 56000 annually. If you have an annual income of about 5lakhs you'll have to pay sum of 112000 per annum.

I had to fill a form that was available online. The scholarship was provided by the Kerala state government. But then the money was credited only for one year and did not receive anything after that.

The campus life is absolutely wonderful. Lot of extra curricular activities are organised and we get to take part in them and even organise such activities. The faculty, student group etc also organises workshops on various technologies, subjects etc. There are many technical clines like Robot Interested Group, Team Unwired, Club Mathematica, etc. These clubs and the department association are active and bring up lot of opportunities for students to learn beyond their academic curriculum.

Yes, it's a residential campus and almost 90% of the students are in hostels. The hostel room conditions are very bad. The room is supposed to be shared by 2 or 3 people yet 4 people are being accomodated in such a room. The hostel washouroom bathouroom and toilets are very miserable and the cleaning is never done properly. The food provides is fine.

They try to reach out and provide opportunities for the students and help them grow. They conduct usual meets and brings new career opportunities forward to the students. They also supports students in their projects. But then these cases are a few. That is only a few alumni group/ association reached out.

I was interested in learning the subject. Interested in coding and problem solving. Moreover the placement, job opportunities and the research area has a huge scope for the same. The course subjects are also taught by prominent facilities. For admission I had to clear JEE mains exam with a decent rank.

Most of the faculties are very experienced and prominent in their field. They can be easily approached incase anyone had any clarifications need for the subject. They also try to bring work oriented / practical based problems in the subject. Some faculties are tho adoac and lack experience. Still they can be approached with doubts and questions.
