Allahabad university review

College is inexpensive. Course structure is excellent. Books provided are international level. But the teachers are not par to dynamic course like MBA. Basic practical knowledge required for the course is still missing.

The MBA curriculum is equivalent to IIM ahmedabad, the books provided are International books as well. But the teachers are not up to date, teachings are not good for a professional course and teachers don't attend students after class. Exams are as any other course and the numbering is not on quality but on quantity of writing.

Internship and placements are not given much attention in college. Being a government college, faculty doesn't care for placements. Students themselves go thourough their connections for internships and placements.

Many events are celebrated like Annual day, freshers, farewell, alumni day. If students want they can participate in yearly youth events of other colleges in city but teachers don't care for it nor give attendance relaxation for the event.

The fee is very feasible. It is government college so fee is as per government structure. In 2012 my course structure was nearly 40000 for 2 years i.e. full course. Along with that the hostel fee is very low as well.

Scholarship were provided for reservation category students. Full fee is waived for such students. All reservation category students are covered for such programs. No other scholarship is provided. Loan is also provided.

Their are no as such extracurricular activities provided by the college. Students participate and conduct their programs on their own. All gender, ethinicity, race, religion, students are their. College is harmonious.

Hostel was provided for 4000 per year. Had in build kitchen which charged per meal. Hostel was good. Their are 9 hostels having different infrastructure as per their age. All course students live together.

Their is a strong alumni network but no such help is provided by them. Their is an annual alumni event organised by faculty. But their is no such help provided by alumni network and faculty as well. It is just for fun.

Entrance exam followed by interview for MBA course. The entrance process is very hard as only 50 seats are their for the course and interview is taken by city magistrate along with teachers and dean.

Faculty is well qualified but not for teaching. The course requires latest knowledge and direct connection to current world, but the teachers lack in teaching that. Which is bad for a professional course like MBA.
