Life of Hotel management student

There are both remarks regarding our college a few once are positives & also there are negatives also. The classes are conducted daily and are cyclically repeated. Kitchen lab are well flaurished and safety is prime goal.

Its a nice course where teachers teaches us how and what are the works/activities we have to perform in the actual field of this business. This course is of 3 years and each of the year divided into two semesters, so combining all its a 3 year & 6 semesters course. Where a 3 hours of theory class conducted by our teachers & then a 4 hours 30mint of practical classes daily (monday-friday).

In the final year of our course i.e. in 3rd year there are several companies visits the college and offer various jobs. for that they conduct interview procedure includes several stages such as group discussion(GD), personal interview(PI) and lastly GM round (general manager). In our 2nd year of course half or the students are go to industrial exposure training in summer & those who left have to complete their training in winter batch.

There are so many events took place over the time in my college. Starting from freshers party which is thourown by seniors to their juniors,so that juniors familiar with their seniors. There are many more events also held such as cutural event,food festival, swachhata abhiyan nukkad natak, teachers day,seven sisters state cultural event, annual (sports,cultural,foodfest) celebration named as Concordia. For the hostel regidance there are birthday base party in every 2nd months.

For a middle class the fee is expensive.For first semester fee is 77000 rs. For second semester it is 49000 rs, for 3rd,4th,5th & 6th semesters fee is around 40000 rs -50000 rs. If the student wants to live in hostel he/she have to submit fee of 50000 rs.

There is a scholarship program rum by our state government and also central government.Intrested candidates have register for scholarship and complete all the processes required for the complition of scholarship before the month of october. Loan facility is also there.

In our college there are annual program combined of (sports,cultural,food and beverage, flower arrangement,t-shirt painting, bakery war,hot kitchen quize contast,etc) also on that there road safety riders bike gang join to our college and shows us stunts and also bicycle stunts are also presented by the stunt mans.

My seniors are so helpful in every aspect either accademics,professional or personal. During our exams how actually queations came in paper they tells us what and which topics are important and major weightage of the topic and according to which they helpa us to figureout the answers best for that. For our industrail training they helps us to know about the good properties & how we can crack their interview criteria & hence selected for the property.

There are an entrance exam held by jeeihmct,then a merit list enclose by the sytem according to this students are eligible different colleges & finally a thouree round counciling starts in which students fills the name of college according to their desire to graduate from & then sytem allots the college to students according to students rank & suitable college which fulfills the rank criteria of the students profile.

They are much qualified to teach us, even not only qualified but also they have taken experience of several years of work in the actual hotels where we students have go go and take the charge after compition of our 3 years course.
