Remarks

The teachers are awesome. All the faculty members are always ready to help for whatever issue we have no matter whether it's college time or not. The friends I made here are pearls that we rarely find. Each one is special in their own way. Will miss them after leaving the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course structure is good and easy going for teachers and students. The labs and exams are frequent but not hectic. Every day we have at least 1 lab class. And every month we have a test to check our progress.

Placement Experience

There is 2+3 placement meh every week in our college for different fields. The minimum package that's walked in was of 1. 9 lakhs per annum. And maximum yet was 12 lakhs per annum. Our college doesn't have internship facilities.

College Events

We have technical and cultural and management fest named ALACRITY. We also have freshers welcoming fest Alfresco. ALACRITY is a really big fest and colleges from the entire country is invited to join it. Celebrities also come and perform in it.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible, It 4. 5 lakhs for a 4 year full course. It is 42000 for the 1st semester. With the 42000 they take a Rs10000 security deposit also which is returned after we graduate. Then 43000 for the remaining semesters.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have no idea as I haven't taken any scholarships or loans or anything as such to study. My family ears good enough to provide for my education so I don't know what to write here. This question wasn't in my favor.

Campus Life

Gender ratio of Girls:Boys is 8:32. We have workshops every semester. Our college doesn't discriminate anyone for the gender, caste, creed, etc. Students are very kind and generous to each other as well.

Hostel Facilities

I stay in a PG. It has fooding and lodhi facilities with fooding electricity water etc it costs Rs5000 per month. The provide breakfast, lunch, tea and dinner. We get non- veg food everyday except for Tuesday. Wednesday and Friday fish, Sunday chicken and the remaining days egg

External Expense: Rs. 2000- Rs. 4000

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors have always been helpful towards the juniors. I have had rare interactions but seeing my friends interactions I realised that the seniors are good. I haven't had any interaction with an alumni so I won't be able to say anything.

Admission

I didn't want to go far from home and wanted to persuade with Computer Science and Engineering course. This college fitted my criteria best so went and grabbed the opportunity to get admission. I had to show my WBJEE ranking. After qualifying that I had to go thourough a Pi round then my admission got confirmation.

Faculty

The faculties are qualified enough to teach us what we have in course and extra too. A few a M. Tech graduates and most of them have even finished with their PhD courses. The faculty members are equally interested in teaching us the courses as much as we are in learning themz.

Supportive Faculty - The professors are highly qualified, approachable and always willing to help students
Free wifi support - There are free wifi support for both student and faculty
Fee Structure - It is very affordable and low compared to other colleges in the region

Dislikes

Placement support is below average, and most studnets have to apply for off campus jobs independently, which is really pathetic in the era of ai where getting a job as a fresher is so difficult
There is no dedicated support or placment cell initiative to help studnets land meaningful summer internships or any kind of internships

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements starting from the 7th semester. For placement drives, we have to visit the main campus, Techno Main Salt Lake (TMSL). Since students from other Techno India campuses and branches also participate, the competition is extremely high. In the 2025–2026 academic year, fewer companies visited. Only two companies, Dronahost and WishCare, visited our specific campus directly. The remaining drives—mostly service-based companies like TCS and EY, along with a few startups—were conducted at the main campus. The remaining drives mostly service based companies like TCS, EY etc and quite a few startups has visited to main campus. The package they offered mostly in between 3.5lpa - 6 lpa. Furthermore the selection process of those startups is quite rigorous often consisting of upto 5 rounds of interview, two technical rounds with two technical interviews, and HR round My plans after getting the degree is either pursue an MBA or preparing for govt jobs

The everyday journey

Likes

I liked the campus . Their people and faculties are too great , they are also helpfull
The other thing i liked here is the play ground where students play with full of their energy and many game events are organised ocationally
The other thing i liked is the library where everyone use to study silently with poking others

Dislikes

Bad benches , like benches are too small to be fitted in our class I
In our department ac doesn’t work properly

Nothing specific just the campus attracted me Curriculum is preparing me for the real world approach and its doing good enough the academic pursuits is good Teachers should teach in a good way so that every student should understand Frequently the timing of exam is 3 hrs but sometimes it takes 1 hrs

The faculty are well taught and the campus is very beautiful . The buildings are like newly bulid . and the campus is very clean.
In our branch the boys and girls ratio is almost 16:11.
The senior behave like a friend and they help us a lot and they also very supportive.

Dislikes

The college campus is too small compare to other colleges.
The college classes are not regularly held and the attendance system is not very good.
The classes are very boing and sometime it feels like aa school and the labs are not held timely.

Placement Experience:

our college average package is 600000 per Anum and highest package is 1800000 per Anum according to recent data. and 80% of student got placed . And wipro , windows, tcs , siemens , tata like companies come to our college for placement. Core students are also got placed but many of them goes for hihger studies.

My experience about techno

Likes

Ragging free campus. Strict action are taken against those who found guilty.
Classrooms are well equipped and are spacious.
There are many fun events that happen in the college

Dislikes

The campus area is too small. The library is not good
The societies are fully controlled by students so huge partiality goes on.
Some of the teachers are mean and are not good.

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards , students become eligible for internships and stepping in 4th yr , students get eligible for campus placement. Techno provides decent campus placements according to your marks. Good marks also with skills get you better salary. Minimum 7.5 cgpa is mandatory to have you sit for campus placements. The lowest package is 3.4 LPA and highest vary but students also get 14LPA easily. Wipro, tcs ,cap ,gemini, amazon , ibm etc.

Likes

The campus is big and full of greenery with the vibrant feel of nature.
The students of the same batch are friendly and helpful.
The teacher's are friendly and helpful. They do provide helpful recommendations for the betterment of your future.

Dislikes

The seniors are overly harsh when it comes to 1st year.
The infrastructure could be worked on. The college lacks renovation.
The hostel does require everyday cleaning and renovation as well as the campus.

Placement Experience:

I don't know much about this but I guess from the sixth semester the students are eligible for campus placements. This year a student from AEIE got a package of 11.2 lacs per annum and the average is around 4 lacs per annum.

Experienced Faculty-students often appreciate a good blend of practical and theoretical knowledge.Faculty members in some department are often known for thier excelence knowledge and experience
Excelent Campus-techno india university has a large campus with excelent facilities such as libraries,labs,seminar halls etc. Some students finds this facilitries useful
Funs and Events-techno india university provides a vibrant campus life with events that span a wide range of interests

Dislikes

Time Management-the one thing that I disliked was their time management.They dont provide a proper shedule for exams,routines etc
Teaching Methods-some students feels that cirtain teaching methods(like a focus on lecture without without interactive learning or industry exposure) must be improved
Placement-techno india university does prepares thier students for placement they only give them the opportunity

Placement Experience:

Elegibility for placement-Generally students become elligible for campus placement in their 7th semester or 8th semester and there might be some prerequisties such as minimum CGPA must be 6-7 with no bachlogs Internship and pre-placement offers-many companies offer internships during the 6th semester or 7th semester and successful interns may receive pre-placement offers if their performance is good. Companies that visits campus: TCS Accenture Cognizent Infosys Wipro Capgemini Deloite Byjus Tech Mahindra Placement Percentage-On average 80%-90% of students may secure jobs through campus placements.However this numbers could vary across different departments and specialization Highest and average package-The highest salary offered at Techno India University was 24 LPA and the average salary was 4-5 LPA. Plans after getting the degree: My plans depends on placement.If I get a job of around 15 LPA then I will not do master degree and if I get job of around 4-5 LPA then I will do master for further great opportunities

The faculties are very good and very active. They are always ready to help
Campus is very beautiful and nice. Campus may be a little bit smaller but it is beautiful.
Environment is very good. And have a natural's beauty

Location is a thing which may difficult to find out.
Number of faculties are small quantity due to the college is newly established
Because of the college is new so therefore not huge like any NIT or IIT

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. There many service based companies visited like TCS ,Cognizant, wipro, Infosys. Almost 60-70% student placed in on campus. Highest package offered by TCS 9-10lpa and Cognizant 6-7lpa wipro 6-7lpa infosys 10lpa etc. 60-70% student getting placement I will go for placement

The life at SIEM

the prior reason for attending this college was the proximity to my hometown. The other reason to chose this college was the availability of the course of my choice i.e. mechanical engineering which was not available at the other engineering colleges in Siliguri.
