Remarks

Great college with huge campus and very good canteen which gives even a boered student reason to visit college every day and not bunk. Facility are very good. Faculty is also very good. Encouragement for extra carricular activites like sports and drama.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The college is affiliated to Mumbai university. The faculty and other facilities are good. Students life here is calm and peaceful as there is a huge campus which adds to the calm vibe of the place. College is well equiped with reading rooms, study halls, laboratories, libraries. Gymkhana is also there with decent amenities for a good game of table tennis or carrom

Placement Experience

3.5

There are not much placement drives. Diring my last year in college there was a placement drive organised by jp morgan. Many of the students want to persue other courses after completing of their graduation.

College Events

4.5

Arthotsav, arambh, annual day function. There are also fests hosted by various departments in the college trying to attract maximum participation from the students of all the streams. The fests are qukte interesting and also provide a learning curve for the students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees depends upon which course you are in. The fee is to be paid annually and is quite reasonable. The fees also depends upon the caste of the student. Fees incude tution fees and gymkhana fees and deposite ammount

Fees and Financial Aid

Not availed any scholarship nor have good knowledge.

Campus Life

4.5

This college gives tremendous support for sports like cricket and base ball, handball. College is also doing good in drama. Students of all types are united and happy being together. The classrooms are huge and good.

Alumni/Alumna

Not much interaction between students and teachers after the course. Ahain it depends upon course to course and teacher to teacher. In My experience there was not much interaction with the senior students and the professor

Admission

Filled the forms for junior college after completion of my school. Got admission in 2nd round. We had to go to the college for securing the seat with all the documents and also pay the fee for full year at the time of admission

Faculty

4.5

The faculty is really good and qualified. The teacher student relationship is very well maintained which is the most important thing for learning. The faculty is a perfect mix of experienced and young dynamic professors. The life of professors is also calm and peaceful which gives them a boost to teach with enthusiasm and make it interesting for the students

Placement Experience:

At TCSC placements are quite good as anyone. Even the SOBO colleges and Mithibai don't have placements as good as us. So this is why I always dreamt of studying here because since last 6-7 years, Thakur College placements have gone better and higher.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The B.com is not a very comprehensive and complex degree to complete for someone who wants to pursue his/her career in finance. It can be referred as an initial start or push start for one's finance journey over the years. Also the relevance of B.com in real world is gradually decreasing day by day.

Remarks:

The good thing is that the college was not strict and was never forcing us to study rather it was seeing to it that it gave us proper advice and help us reach more towards my career goal. The bad part would be there were may staff which was very dull and was not kind, and no importance was given to correct their behaviour although it was evident by all.
