It is one of the best colleges of Chandigarh, especially for commerce. It focuses not only on the educational dimension but also on the extra curriculars which are important for the overall exposure of the students.

The course curriculum focused more on the theoritical part than on the research. My course did not include labs. We had Mid semester exams and the final exams for the sememster. We received enough preparatory holidays for both of them and it was not exhausting. I had 6 exams for the 6 subjects i was studying. 20 marks were for the internals and 80 marks written exam.

Yes, the college provides placements for the students. Most of them are for the commerce students. Companies like Wipro and Amazon etc have visited our college for the same. It does not provide internships.

There are cultural events like Virasat for the arts students, which is the most popular one. Top singers and music bands in the industry are invited for it. Apart from it almost all the departments have their own fest like the commerce students organise Panache.

It is feasible in accordance with a private college. It varied from 22 to 24 thousand per annum for an arts degree. The examinations fees is different from the annual fees and we had to pay around 3500 for each semester.

The one which i know of is for the under-priviledged students. There is also an UFV block which provides scholarships to the studens who want to go to Canada after a particular course they have to do.

The extra curricular activities in our college were outstanding. It hosts the Youth Fest frequently. There is a huge sports ground for various sports including football and volleyball. There are NCC camps organised etc.

Yes, the senior students are always very helpful and i have never experienced or seen anybody, during my tenure, bullying the juniors. They were of immense help when i joined the college and guided me thourough all the buildings and activities.

The admission process was layered in thouree stages. The online submission of forms. After the form was approved we were called for the verification of the documents and the seat was given on the basis of merit.

The faculty of the college is well qualified and versed with their subjects. Almost all of them are very punctual and take their classes very seriously. Apart from the theory they taught and informed us about their personal experiences as well.
