My final words to college management will be to be a little more nice to students.

Manipal has an online entrance test of its own, i scored 111 in 2011 year with my 12th class and my rank was 5556 that time i took IT branch later i changed to CIVIL. I choose this college because i heard a lot about this on internet and from my relatives.

Course structure is very well designed but the faculty is not that good because most of the teachers are new and started with our batch only.

I did internship after 6th sem at my hometown in PWD but college don't play any role in getting the internship you have to get it by your connections only.

Job opportunities are very good in manipal if you are in CS/IT you will easily get 2 or 3 offers in hand until and unless you are too dumb but very less core companies come especially for civil and electrical students.

For technical festivals we have TECHTATVA and for cultural and management festivals we have REVELS and UTSAV and believe me they are the best part in college life.

AICTE scholarship is there for students whose parents income is less than 3 lakh (not sure though about income part) which makes very easy for the students who wants to study in a good institute like MIT.

Campus life is just awesome very huge campus with all the facilities talking about the gender ratios you will find a lot of girls doing engineering here. Manipal is a place where extra curricular activities are given same importance as studies and always some club events are happening here technical and non technical both for every branch.

The hostels are good here you will find a variety of hostels according to your choice and budget varying from 85000 to 150000 ( including hostel, mess and caution deposit fees) and trust me mess food is very good here especially breakfast and food court of here is way better than some big companies food court.

Senior students are extremely helpful especiallly at the time of placements they always tell about do's and dont's in tests and interview of each company and motivate to take a good palcements and i need not tell you about you the alumnis of here please google the current ceo's of top companies like microsoft nokia etc and you will get the answer from which college they graduated.
