Remarks

College management should focus on student development programs and there placements as well. College should encourage students to innovate, research and participate in various carrier oriented events and they require flexibility in their management policies.

Entrance Preview

UPSEE, however student gets entry from management quota as well on the basis of their 12 th clas percentage and student interview perfomance without any donation college generally accepts students ranking till 8000 in UPSEE.

Course Curriculum Overview

The college is affiliated to UP technical university and its curriculum is strictly according to university guidelines all the faculty are M.Tech or Ph.D from reputed colleges.

Internships Opportunities

I had done my internship from DRDO its a government organisation for defence research and development.

Placement Experience

2.5

Placement is average with companies like Infosys, fiserv etc. Provides average package of 3.25 lpa number of companies coming to college are very less as compared to AKGEC repo they need to strongly work in there placement department.

College Events

College fests of all types are very dull as college does not invest much money for these types of events as they strongly believe studies are only going to benefit student in their future however they organise every type of event such as sports event name SAKSHAM, tech fest name TECHTRISHNA etc. Student from different colleges are also allowed to participate in tech fest only.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are provided by University itself whereas no loan facility is provided by the college.

Campus Life

3.5

Campus life is average however college tries its level best to promote various events and programs which are organised by various cultural societies such as Horizon, Phoenix etc. Ragging is strictly prohibited and college is neutral in terms of gender ratio, race etc.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostels are average rooms are available as per single, double and triple sharing basis with mess facilities cleanliness is the USP of the college. The student has to pay Rs 70000 anually for double occupancy in 1st year's hostel. Hostel wardens are quite strict and days scholars are not allowed to enter the hostels.

External Expense: Rs. 4000 - Rs. 7000

Alumni/Alumna

The college is struggling hard to create strong alumini network in recent past it has tried to bring aluminis together by organising various parties and events. College conducts alumini meet every year and trying to create a strong alumini network.

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

Likes

I really appreciated the college clubs and hackathons.
There are variety of events throughout the semester, something to always keep you on your feet.
Some of the faculties are really really experienced and have a unique approach that captures the attention of all the students.

Dislikes

Not many hotspots around campus to hang out after classes.
The infrastructure of the hostel can be improved a lot.
Food in mess is not great, the menu is not very diverse. Everything has aloo.

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually impressive with our college having the highest placement rate among others in the region. We usually achieve ~90% placement. We get opportunities from many large groups, such as Infosys, TCS, JPMC, BNY, Logitech, etc etc The list goes on. The highest package that I saw was of around 1Cr from a company I don't remember their name, but it was based out of SF and was a really great one. Average placement we see is around 12-20LPA packages.

A good and friendly environment on campus where students from all around nearby cities and states stay together in harmony.
Interactive classes and faculty is also very supportive.
The campus has all basic facilities from food to stationary.

Dislikes

The food may sometimes be not very good.
The campus has less places to spend some free time other than some spots.
Due to small academic hall places may look too crowded.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college is really one of the the factors convincing everyone to take admission in SRM ,average package from the college is of around 10,00,000 which is really a very good amount in todays stresfull market.

The students could come through counselling or Cbse 12th percentage i.e management, counselling is done on JEE scores and 12th percentage should be more than 75-80% in PCM for unreserved prolly...Read More

Inside AKGEC Life

1) I had applied for colleges like jss noida,gl bajaj , kiet , akgec through UPTAC counselling for those who gave JEE Exam. i preferred this college because after reading reviews about it ,consulting senior students. 2) I could get this college based on my rank . I could not make it to other colleges because of their high cutoff for the CSE branch. 3) admission process includes direct admission where students are admiitted based on 10th,12th score and branches are alloted based on their score, 2nd is through the uptac counselling for students who want to get admission through JEE Score. overall admission experience was good....Read More

so bascially i didn't choose this college . i did mistake in my uptac counselling and get this college but when i studied here and seen all the aktu colleges i prefer this is good because it ranked 3 in up colleges .the college is ranked 3 in whole up and its naac A++ so yes its a great college so to get admission in akgec there are two ways by 10+2 percentage marks or by uptac counselling you have to fill your choices in uptac counselling so fill it very carefully without any mistake so the overall to get any cs/it branch your jee percentile should be above 88 and below that you can get any other core branches....Read More
