The positive is that its a nationalized university. There is a huge reputation for the university. There is a huge infrastructure lag in the campus which is completely not addressed. The food is not good in many of the mess for the students residing in the hostels.

The course curriculum is structured perfectly to focus on research. The exam are frequent but not hectic. The exam structure differs for each and every course in this university. Overall, its helpful for my research.

It is a nationalized university, hence the placement is quiet smooth. We are recognized by various government/NGO/private/MNC institutions. Internship are quiet rare. The average package ranges from 500000 to 1500000 rupees per year.

Numerous events are celebrated in the campus. There are several clubs which work specifically on the areas mentioned above. As it is a nationalized university, the scope of the even is magnanimous and participants come from all over the globe.

The fee structure is a little bit expensive. The fee structure includes various particulars like, tuition fees, admission fees, identity card fees, alumni association fees, student library fees, campus lan and development fees and many more.

I am currently availing institute fellowship. It is provided by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, India. The scholarship also covers the house rental allowance for the students if the students don't avail the hostel facilities.

The institute do have a dedicated space for each and every sport. As there are various clubs, we have a numerous extracurricular activities. The laboratory is not quiet updated and are not maintained properly. Zero tolerance for ragging.

Being a fresher, I don't have enough idea about alumni network. The senior students are very helpful and have guided me throughout the various process before and after admission. They do have a diversified knowledge about the subjects.

It is a well established university for my specialization in south India. I have a qualified GATE scorecard, which is a mandate requirement. I was called for interview after i have cleared the written examination. Upon clearing the interview, I have joined as a research scholar in Civil engineering (Water Resources & Environmental division).

The faculty are well qualified with enormous credentials earned in their respective area of specialization. They make sure that the theoretical concepts is well complimented with the laboratory approach in every subject.
