Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is pretty flexible. We assisted the teaching faculties in their research work and proceeded with our own research paper side by side. Last two years of our program was more or less occupied by writing the paper.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure for the PhD program is pretty nominal. Institute is pretty affordable in terms of tuition fees and accommodation fees.

Fees and Financial Aid

Students who clears the NET JRF exam are also eligible for availing the scholarships from ICAR.

Campus Life

Campus life is pretty sober. Much emphasis is paid on the academics and extracurricular activities are very limited. We celebrate many national festivals and regional festivals. The infrastructure is pretty great and the college provides all the basic facilities required for the research projects.

Hostel Facilities

Ph.D. program is a residential program where the accommodation facility is provided by the institute at a cheap price.

External Expense: Rs.7000 - Rs.10000

Admission

Our college offers Ph.D. degree in Chemical, Biological and Engineering Sciences. Students have to apply on the official website with all the necessary details, and objectives of their research topic. They will be called for the interview rounds.

Faculty

Each research fellow is assigned a mentor which guides us in the research work and career guidance. Overall, the faculty is very supportive and understanding. They were very accessible and were willing to help at any time.

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements straing of the final year and the student should clear all subjects. Companies like Google, AmericanExpress, Oracle, RedFox etc.. As far as i know that the highest package is 60Lacs. Every year almost 90 percent of students get placed. My plan is get placed in the company with good package.

Placement Experience:

There is placement officer for the placement and their will be a student placement coordinator how takes the responsibilities of placement management. Their are many big MNCS and Tech companies visit the college at time of placement. The highest package is 30 LPA and lowest is 10 LPA. Mostly all the students will placed. My plans include doing MBA in states.

Remarks:

The positive is that its a nationalized university. There is a huge reputation for the university. There is a huge infrastructure lag in the campus which is completely not addressed. The food is not good in many of the mess for the students residing in the hostels.

Technically the college is sound in academic aspects, but the infrastructure needs to be updated. The labs needs to be upgraded. There is a scarcity for hostel facility inside the campus, especially for girls. Now the management is planning to build a 1400 room hostel for girls.
