Experience of free working enviroment

As a phd student institute is giving me freedom to work, faculties are young so it is easy to get their cooperation.Negative comment is we are in constructing phase, so it have its own difficulties.

I join this college after qualified in gate 2013 for M.tech course. Than I convert to phd. I scored 58/100 and my gate score is 635

I completed my M.tech fluid and energy system so I am giving feedback for same course only. Here we mainly study fluid mechanics courses such as CFD and heat transfer courses. Faculty is very good here. They always try to build basis by giving term projects and exams.

I am phd student getting stipend from MHRD that is 25000 rs. While in M.Tech stipend is 12400rs. In B.tech students will get opportunity to do internships but that stipend will vary.

Placements are better every year. Computer Science stream have more opportunity. Like one of my friend got 27lks in flipkart. Other branch also score decent numbers specially in b.tech.

1. Elan - cultural fest held in january every year. Every year canvas of event is increasing.2.nvision- a tech fest of national standards.3. Sports meet- on two levels departmentwise and combination of all. In second players will divide by auction.Games such as cricket, hikey, footwall, volleyball, badminton, tenis, table tenis, chess, basketball, are major games

Fee structure is not expensive because it is goverment funded institute. In phd my fee is 30000 rs. Which consist 7000 is tution fees and remaining is hostel.

I cannot say much about it but yes students will get opportunity to study in Japan for phd because we have strong collaboration witj Japan.

Their are so many clubs for extracirricular activites. Like students have intrest in automobiles can join torque which compete in BAJA every year, we have robotics club, club for space, dance, play, music, We have club called spicmekey in which we invite Indian artist of any form. Which give us opportunity to interact with them. And many more.

Currently we have hostel in two places because this IIT is in construction phase. Facilities are good here. Food is prepared as per mesh comety. In future IIT Hyderabad have best hostel buildings.

I am not much awair of this question. But our college is a new IIT we are building ourselfs.But yes we have regular alumini meeting to interact. While seniors are helpfull. In B.tech 1st years seniors are mentors for 1st year students.

Their is Mid term and End term exam. But exam structure is varying facullty to faculty. Some faculty emphasise on tetm project more than exam. Some took open exam. So, one cannot standardize the exams here.

Faculty is young, determined and more ambitious towards research. Always try to colobrate on international level to benefit research in institute.
