Remarks

Our college has well developed infrastructure and the faculties are also very good. It has very good classrooms and smart classes. Good canteens and toilets. Our college is a green campus which includes the complete avoidance of plastics and is remarked as an environmental friendly campus.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course curriculum is little difficult. But daily studies make it easier. The syllabus helps a lot in the further researches. Exams are not much easier. Labs are chilled and little care and concentration make it easier. It is not a burden for me.

Placement Experience

4

I have no experience about the internship and stipends. But my college provides internship. Many companies comes and they provide placements and job opportunities. Many students are selected for job placements in many of the higher companies.

College Events

4.5

Our college celebrate may events such as Arts day, Association day, Fresher's day, cultural fest, Management festivals etc. They are almost big and sometimes extends to event 2 to 3 days. I will participate in some of the programmes. Other than these events, we celebrate every festivals up to its extreme.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of our college is feasible to almost every students compared to other colleges. They provide grants and fee concession to financially backward students. They also provide scholarships and cash prizes to students who achieve top positions in their academics.

Fees and Financial Aid

My college provides many good scholarships for financially backward students. Currently I am not availing any scholarships or loan facilities. But I applied for 2 scholarships 2 months ago. These scholarships helps many students financially.

Campus Life

4

My college supports a lot in extracurricular activities, labs and sports. There are many programmes which helps to express the talents of the students. Boys and girls equally participate in all the programmes. There are discrimination among students based on gender, race, religion etc. There are good lab facilities and sports grounds.

Alumni/Alumna

The senior students or sometimes alumnis are very helpful in many aspects. They help in our studies and lab works. They provide valuable informations about the various competitive examinations and further research works.

Admission

I got admission purely on the basis of my graduation marks. The college shortlist the students who applied for the admission. I am the fourth one in the waiting list. They select only 5 students (out of 13) based on merit list. The remaining are selected by reservation. There was no interview for the admission. Finally, I got the admission on the first day itself.

Faculty

5

Almost all faculties of my college are highly qualified and are interested to teach the respected courses. They are always ready to clear the doubts and questions of the students who are needed. They are also friendly to their students.

Remarks:

JEE Rank was the main factor. The facilities like hostel, labs, etc mentioned in the IIT Palakkad website. During the allotment process, one senior girl student of my branch contacted me and cleared all my doubts whether it was small or big, placement details, etc. After the rankings were released, based on the previous years cut-off ranks, I was able to get a fair idea about the colleges I would be able to join among all the IITs, NITs, IIITs. Based on JEE Mains rankings, NIT or IIITs can be chosen. Based on JEE Advance ranking, IIT can be chosen. Also, 2 mock allotment will take place which gives a fair idea of which allotment we will get. These mock allotment will be based on our preferences. We can change them after the mock. Then the actual allotment will start. Once we finalise our preferences and lock them, there will be 7 rounds of allocation. 3 options will be given in each round-Float, Freeze,Slide (details will be clearly mentioned in the website). Once you are allocated a seat in any round, document verification will take place (seat acceptance fee must be paid at this stage).
