Remarks

Teaching faculties are poor. I have already mentioned about them in the above questions. Some are great. They have great knowledge on their specific subject. Some don't know how to teach. Some are nor punctual

This college falls under ktu syllabus. Their syllabus is illogical. Exams, assignments etc are more frequent and leaves the day hectic. Not cool at all. For average students like us. It is tough.

Placement Experience

Average. Lots of options for CS students and also for electrical batch. For mechanical branch. NO PLACEMENTS AS OF NOW. BUT IN FUTURE. MORE COMPANIES CAN COME. BUT AS OF NOW. Cannot comment on that.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible for me. But fee is according to the marks scored on examinations and entrance score. It is an aided college. So fee categories are basexbon merit,management,NRA etc Fee wavier is also provided by college based on marks scored

Fees and Financial Aid

They help us to avail education loan. For poorer students. Fee waviers are also provided from the college. I m paying around 40k annually. Some are paying only around 2k rs. It depends on the caste we belong and the marks we score

Campus Life

They are good. Not great. We have inter college fest. Sports meet etc. We have art fest. We can see so many students showcasing their talents on stage and off stage. Students from different parts of kerala are here.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes. They are helpful and friendly. They also conduct tuition classes who are weak in academics. They help us in many ways. They motivate us to join various programmes. They help us mentally so much. They are of great help

Admission

First i wrote the entrance examination. Here it is called keam examination. If you get good score for that. Admission process can be easy. 12th grade exams marks are also considered. Based on that. Ranks are published. If we get a good rank. We will get placed on good colleges

Faculty

Some teachers are bad. Atleast for me. Msome are great. Whereas some are useless. So in my view. I can say that the faculties are average.teaching methods are very boring and not at all interesging.

Life at CET

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of the college is very active. You can get internships starting 2nd year and placements starting 3rd year. About 75% of people get placed. Many MNCs like Texas Instruments are consistent hirers. The highest package of 2025 for my course is 1 crpa. The average is about 7 lpa. A student can get 5,6 offers. I plan on higher studies abroad because I want to learn more in-depth about the course.

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was never interested in engineering. I passed KEAM entrance exam. So my parents forced me to become an engineer. Since I was interested, I thought food technology might be a good branch in engineering. So I got admission in KUFOS through allotment. The course is actually good . In the 1st year, you study basic engineering, 2nd year onwards food related courses are taught. If you are a student who only have the intention to study you will find this college easy to adjust. They provide all facilities to study. There is no particular frequency for a semester. Even though academic calender is there for each batch it is not followed properly. In this college the course may last upto 4.5 years. Due to this reason the students ask the management to cut shot semester breaks so that they won't loose 1 year.

I only have postive thoughts about that campus. The campus helped me to remove my pre-occupations, inhibitions, fear etc. It gave a lot of memorable moments, large number of friends. The most special thing about the college is those memorable friendships with the faculties whos understand students very well.

I get this college as a merit seat. I had written the KEAM entrance exam and I got this college according to the rank I got in that entrance exam. We have to give some options of college for the allotment criteria. I choose Government Colleges first but I didn't get as my rank is less when compared to the ranks taken by the government college. Next I preferred government aided colleges and I placed my college as the first option as it is under cape , and I could be a day scholar as this is of less distance from my home.
