Remarks
It's overall a decent college but it's been hyped up a lot. Like people think you're a very good child in studies if you're studying in this college. But it's not like that. The college is average. And studies are also decent.
Course Curriculum Overview
It is pretty chilled because we have only 4 lectures in a day. The course structure is same is it is of all the du colleges. The curriculum is same. There is no focus on research in my course as it not mandatory.
Placement Experience
I've not applied for any placements yet or in any placement cell. So I don't know about it. And there are no college internships provided. The college should provide more and more internships so that students can work amd learn from what they have studied earlier.
College Events
There are very few events celebrated in our college. Out college is one of the most renowned in football and cricket. And also the spardha events are pretty good. Spardha is the dance society of our college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee is very feasible. Like the fee is 8000rs for an year which is pretty much good and can be afforded by amost everyone. All the du colleges have feasible fee structure since it's a government university.
Campus Life
The labs are decent. The ground is pretty small. Keeping in mind the football and cricket teams of our college. There is zero gender discrimination. Recently when elections took place, a girl won the president seat. And there were no girls to support her except the boys who took part with her.
Hostel Facilities
I've not opted for hostel. Since my college is just 1 hr distance from my home which is in gurugram. It is pretty much less distance that can be travelled on every day basis. Plus, our college doesn't provide hostel facilities. So people live in pgs.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, the only good thing is that the seniors are quite helpful. They will help you at their best. For anything or any issues w the college society or events anything, one can go to any senior associated with it. And they surely help you.
Admission
Our college has a merit based system. So I got 96% in 12th and my name was there in probably 4th cutoff list. I Choose B.Com Honours because that's a good base if I've to do mba later as my post graduation.
Faculty
The faculty is not too good. Teachers are on leave most of the times. And there is zero seriousness is any of the teachers. Most of the time they are on strike or on leave. That's it. They should also understand the importance of education other than going for strike every now and then.
