Remarks

I would like to say that it is a good college but not the best. It can improve on some aspects. Also it is dependent on how much you do improve and participate in extracurricular and programming competitions apart from college curriculum.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is okayish in manner. It is best to hone and enhance your programming skills by participating in various coding competitions and hackathons. Exam structure is like you have 2 college tests + 1 main exam in each semester.

Placement Experience

Placements and job opportunities are great. It mostly take place over a period of time, it starts in the month of August only but you will start getting emails from placement committees about the process. This college doesn't help in internships, you have to find it yourself.

College Events

Both technical and cultural fests i.e avensis and genesis respectively, are conducted just after the winter break which makes it difficult to attract the students. They are not very big events. Overall the events are fine. This college is not for fun but for studies only. More focus is always for studies and attendance.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is normal as of for other private engineering colleges. This time they increased 20k for each year so it is approximately 1.2 lakh per year. It is costly for some people but those who are from management have to pay 10+ Lakh extra to get into this college.

Fees and Financial Aid

Loans are easily availabled for this college. You can go to any bank for this college and they will provide you loan for this college within 1 month. There are very few scholarships from the main university. The college itself doesn't provide it. Every year circulars are rolled out for the scholarship and you have to check the college boards for that.

Campus Life

For extracurricular activities we have socities and clubs for that. You can find rotary club, prakriti, IEEE society, Dance society, Singing Society. They clubs are great if you join them and it will give you great exposure.

Alumni/Alumna

There is no interaction between the alumni network and the students. It is up to you how you maintain your connection with seniors. For that you have to join various societies, particiapte in fests or find them on LinkedIn and connect to them.

Admission

Gave Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha university entrance exam and after that i filled choices for best colleges. After that based on my rank I was awarded this college. Then we had submit all our documents.

Faculty

College faculties are great, but if you have more knowledge then them don't try to oversmart them as if they got to know you have more knowledge then them they will get offend and may not behave properly with you. Overall some of the faculties are awsome.

Placement Experience:

Students after completing third year are eligible for placement. Placements start before starting of fourth year, and it requires students to have no backlogs in any subjects. However companies can imply their own rules to filter the students such as minimum CGPA criteria. But placements of our college is one of the best placement for a non-IIT college, despite having so many student intake.

Placement Experience:

My seniors got placed in the 7th semester and a few in the 6th as well. As per them, the placements are the best compared to all other IPU Colleges. Offers from abroad are too given here. For Computer Related Branch, placements are to 90%. Highest Package has surpassed 1 Cr, and Avg. package is about 8 LPA.

Placement Experience:

Placements are decent, average package goes from 5lpa to 10lpa. Highest it has went 84lpa in Amazon so far and can for sure grow in future. 7th semester students become eligible for placement drives and companies like amazon, microsoft, newgen, tcs, ibm, etc are major recruiters here. Around 80% students do get placed but you can definitely be among them by refining your skills and maintaining a good cgpa. I plan to go for off campus placements as well as I'm interested in AI related roles but hoping for even better.

DTU , fun college life , good placements and endless joy

Placement Experience:

The placements are fantastic , many companies like google amazon and FAANG companies come here . Although i cant compare it with top IIT s but still a 25 lakh per annum package in CSE is still remarkable. The placement cell is often influenced by Placement coordinator but then DTU takes action against them and debar them from placements . If one does not get placement in DTU. , the DTU tag will obviously be more than useful in after course placements

College Life at MSIT: A Mixed Bag

I chose MSIT mainly because it is one of the better colleges under IPU and has a good reputation for placements and campus environment. During admission I applied for a few other IPU colleges as well but MSIT stood out because of its ranking and the fact that seniors also suggested it as one of the top choices after USICT. The admission process at MSIT is through IPU CET/JEE counselling. Once you get allotted MSIT in counselling, you have to report to the college with a long list of documents for verification. Honestly, it feels a bit hectic because they ask for almost everything JEE admit card, JEE result, registration slip, allotment letter, academic fee receipt, balance fee receipt, 10th and 12th marksheets, character certificate, caste certificate, medical certificate, and even multiple photographs. They also make you and your parents sign undertakings like anti-ragging and attendance. I choosed msit bcz it had good placements in cse/it n also infra is decent.. i applied to few other ipu clgs like bpit n mait... but msit felt better in vibe n crowd. didn’t get nsut or dtu bcz my rank was not that good.. missed cutoff by lil bit..
