Opportunities at kiit

If you are a part of kiit then you are at safer side. As the education system is good. Sports opportunities are also good. The fee is a matter of concern but you can go for loan and rest everything is good here and the environment is totally different and attractive.

Course structure here is good as you get all the core branches here and really good faculties and hod. The lab staffs are very helpful and supportive. So the exam structure is like you have to give a mid semester examination and an end semester examination and then you are promoted successfully to the next year.

Placements here are really impressive and excellent if taken in context with computer science branch and you get various opportunities for internships to learn new things and showcase your class. Paid internships are provided by companies and various paid and free courses are arranged like rcpl etc.

Our college hosts the biggest fest in Odisha which is kiit fest and various other activities like kritarth etc. Department events are also arranged like showcase your coding in hackathon and various other events in sports and also hosts big matches and ranji matches in its stadium. Students participate at a great level and show there talent in front of thousands of people.

The fee here is quite high but worthed as the environment you get here is priceless. You need to pay a dd of 74000 at the beggining for laptop and books and other extra material then the educational fee per semester is 150000 and the hostel fee is 27000 per semester for non ac 3 bed and 40000 for 3 bed ac and mess fees is 17500 for everyone and rest you can see the whole fee structure on the main page of kiit(www. kiit. ac. in).

Yes educational loan is provided by kiit. A form is given at the time of orientation for loan approval. Scholarships are also provided to the rankholders in the entrance exams and and to the topper of the college.

Labs are good for research,lab incharges are good and knowledgeable. Sports is a bonus factor for kiit and kiit is good in research and also in sports as it hosts many big tournaments state,national or international level sports in its own stadium and prepare and motivate students to take part in sports and also train students to play for the country.

Hostels are quite good in comparison with the hostel charges and cleanliness is good,rooms are big,proper ventilation is there and the mess is also clean and good. In case you got late and not alloted with hostel then you can check the nearby pgs as the costs are not so high and you will get many good pgs near the university.

The alumini who got placed in good companies or are doing good internships are connected to us via LinkedIn,Facebook,WhatsApp and other social sites and also whenever they are free they come to address us and motivate us for the future placements.

Firstly i filled the form for kiiteee then i gave the online exam which was completely free of cost and then after the ranks were published i was called for the orientation and seat booking and according to my rank,i got my branch and then lectures started at the announced date.

Faculties of all the branches and subjects here are very supportive and the subject teachers are also very good with there subjects. Every teacher is provided with a subject he is specialized with and you get a mentor to resolve your issues.
