Scored 79.19% aggregate in Diploma in Computer Engineering. Since Vidyalankar known for its coaching classes in Dadar & all over Mumbai, I thought the teaching staff would be well experienced & hence it would help me in my acedemics. So I opted to this college.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is specifically set by Mumbai University since it comes under Mumbai University so all the curriculum & exam pattern are structured as prescribed by the Mumbai University. Consists of 8 Semester course in 4 years of Bachelor of Engineering degree.
Internships Opportunities
No. There is no internship provided but I've heard from my seniors & faculties too, that there are free workshops being conducted to train students for becoming Industry ready, before placements.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure for students from Open category is quite expensive since its around 1.3 lacs per anum, which goes on increasing year by year. Students other than open categories which fall under backward classes can avail their freeships & scholarships & can get their concessions in fees.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarships & freeships are provided to students of backward caste categories. EBC scholarship is also available to students having family annual income less than prescribed, by issuing necessary documents. One can also apply for Tata Scholarship on scoring 8 pointer. Currently No loan facility is available.
Campus Life
Gender ratio is pretty much around 1:1One can find students of almost all major religions including Hindus, Sikhs, Muslims & Christians, since there is no reserved institute level seats for minority.
Exam Structure
Well Exam structure is as prescribed by Mumbai University. Semester Exam twice a year, with 2 Internal Assessment tests each sem & practicals as per subject requirement. Labs are well furnished but sometimes it causes glitch. Overall experience is great.
