Remarks
The facility of the library is great. In our college, we can take 4 books, and we also have a departmental library, where we can take 2 books. The infrastructure of our college is much well than other local colleges.
Course Curriculum Overview
In my college, the structure pushed me to study for only University's syllabus, which was not helpful for the future entrance exams. In our university semester CBCS based course running, which was not handled by the University, because of a large number of colleges under our BURDWAN UNIVERSITY. Each semester happened after 6 months (approx), & in each semester we have 2 internal exams.
Placement Experience
No such facility is provided by the college. Just complete your b. sc course then goes out, you have ideas which are helpful for future by the teachers, some of them are very helpful. In engineering college, such facilities provided, which differ from our b. sc course.
College Events
In our college, many programs are happened, which are conduct by our College (union ) 1. Freshers:- in this program, many celebrities have come, and the students enjoy this. 2. Social:- this is the same as freshers. 3. Sports competition 4. Sarswati puja. 5. Foundation day.
Fee Structure And Facilities
As our college is a government college, hence the fee is feasible for each student. I paid an admission fee of about 1500. And we have to pay an extra 500 for some events that happen in our college. In each semester we have to pay 1200.
Fees and Financial Aid
Our college's founder is a Muslim Muhammad Mohsin so he announced a scholarship for minorities, which is very helpful for our minority friends, but it's also pain full for other religious students.
Campus Life
In our college NCC conduct, which is very helpful & by this course you will be well organized, which is of the 2-year course. You have to go to different campuses for training, in which you can learn many things which are necessary for survival in extreme conditions, in campus students are trained by army officers.
Alumni/Alumna
In our department the relation between the junior & senior students is very poor, no such a help I have. But the teachers are every time try to develop our relation by occurring some events, such like departmental freshers.
Admission
I have filled up the online application form and where I have to choose 3 subjects, 1st subject in which I was interested & 2 more are just asked. And, after some days merit list came which was based on our 12's marks. Then counseling occurs, where all documents are verified, after counseling that my admission happened.
Faculty
My college is a government college, hence the faculty to teach is of standard level, in our college the libraries are much bigger, with a collection of a variety of book. In our department, we have many expansive instruments for practical.
