Remarks

The college is good. The university isn't. The college will welcome you the best way possible.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

3 year degree course. 1 exam each year. At the end of the college year. Curriculum was so old. But i guess the current exam system has been changed. Like now it's semester system. Two exam each year. Which is obviously better than the previous approach.

Placement Experience

0.5

Its a government college it never ever had any placement. This is a mainstream or so called general college. So, no placement is very common.

College Events

2

There are basically four events to mention as far i remember. 1. Freshers welcome: after the admission, all the new students were welcomed to this event to cheer them up. 2. college social: this is the biggest event of the year. We had a programme similar to freshers 3. Saraswati puja 4. Sports day

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible; As it is a government college, so it's very budget friendly. Its the only government college in the locality for general stream. Compared to that the fee structure were so less. It was Rs. 110 per month. Which we had to pay collectively at the end of the year.

Fees and Financial Aid

No scholarship. the fees was so low that there was no need of any kind of scholarship. Also i never opted for any.

Campus Life

3.5

Campus was great. Adequate area. Gender ratio was almost 50:50. There were no official extra-curricular activities. But we used to play sports like football, cricket, volleyball, table tennis, badminton. Laboratory was peresent whichever department required that.

Hostel Facilities

2

No. The college was very near to my home. Like 5 kilometres. I never needed to stay in a hostel. I used to go college via cycle. And never needed to opt for hosted. It would be waste of money. Also i can live with my family.

Alumni/Alumna

My seniors were cool. They were so cool. There is no sign of ragging. We used to hangout so much. We are still in contact.

Admission

Visit the college to collect the college prospectus which cointaines the form. Fill out form and submit. Waited for online merit list. Went to college for councilling. Got selected. Waited for the given admission date. Paid the fees. Got admission to the college.

Faculty

4.5

Each and every department have the adequate faculty. Never felt like we need more. But being a government college, many of the teacher lack interest to teach. And we had no option to complain about it. Our department was good. Nothing to complain. Teachers were well educated.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Though the bachelor of science is pursued by someone who wants to research and develop some idea to help the modern world. The primary decision was to contribute to the society like the great scientists who have done so before. The curriculum provides a balanced approach of both theoretical knowledge and practical skills, theoretical knowledge from classes, assignments, homeworks and exams. Practical knowledge through the different workshops that are held in the college auditorium or online with successful men of the field who are brought as guests in them, from renowned scientists to great thinkers we have met a lot of them.
