Remarks

The college overall is good. Teaching facility is good, sports is good, extra curricular activities are also good. Just some things like canteen, buildings are not too good as compared to other colleges. The attendance is compulsory. Many students cant keep up with their attendance.

Course Curriculum Overview

It becomes a very hectic day due to busy schedule and various exams and practicals etc. There are exams every month. There are online exams also for which deep study is required. The practicals and classroom teaching is good

Placement Experience

The placement of our college is very good. Many companies like TCS, cognizant, infosys etc come for placement drives to select students. The college also allows students for various internships which helps students to earn and learn at the same time.

College Events

Sports,cultural,technical events take place in our college. The teaches also participate in these events which make them more interesting. Other colleges are also invited to our college for the events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible. The fees which I pay is 1,00,000/- for a year. It is feasible because almost every college in pune has same fee structure. The fees vary according to castes, categories, etc. There are various scholarships too.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are various scholarships for the students from small towns or villages. The loan facility is also available from every banks which help the students to pay the fees and take admission without thinking twice.

Campus Life

There are many extra curricular activities for students like dance, sports, supra lab, drama, etc. Many students after college participate in these activities as a hobby or for career. Basketball , football, cricket are various sports.

Alumni/Alumna

Many alumni of our college are teachers themselves. The senior batches also help in various activities, projects, events, sports, studies. They also share there experiences with us. They also plan many programs for juniors.

Admission

I had given CET and JEE. So i got admission through CAP round from my marks obtained in CET and JEE exams. Then I got admission in Jaywant Shikshan Prasarak Mandal’s Rajarshri Shahu College Of Engineering, Tathawade, Pune

Faculty

We have a very friendly faculty in our college fir every year’s every subject. The practical faculty is also very friendly. They help us in every possible way and motivate us to participate in maximum events we can whether it’s in our college or in any other college.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

The moderate college of engineering in pune , with moderate fees and good environment.

Placement Experience:

the placement structure of this college is mainly on the tech branches. the placement varies betweem 3 to 5 lakhs on average, annually but if are choosing core branches like mechanical, civil or electrical or entc then you can expect low from it. College do offers insdustry obesrvation and siteseeing tours. These activities are for core branch students. the companies visited in college are TCS, WIPRO, INFOSYS, for IT sector and core branches companies like BOSCH, ULTRATECH CEMENT, TATA TECHNOLOGIES , do visit for campus recruitment. The highest package was placed by a student of 45 lakhs in 2022 and another student of 22 lakhs. the percentage of placement for 2024 batch was about 70% to 72% for overall placement record. after getting degree i will persue the job in pune and stay updated on ladakh civil job vacancies.

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.
