My College, My Pride

One of the best colleges for all round growth and exposure of the student. The most inspiring thing about my college i found is the amount recieved fromt he students are being used for a good cause. Our college founder runs a tribal school called KISS(KALINGA INSTITUTE OF SOCIAL SCIENCE) where 25000 tribal students are being educated completely free that too with full accomodation.

We were given theoretical lectures followed up by the lab practicals on the very advanced technologies been taught. There used to be 2 semesters a year each semester containing 1 mid semester along with lab exams.

The placements and job opportunities are handlesd by training and placement department who provide the training before an year from the year of placement and groom the students. Companies from Big four, startups all of them come. Companies like highradius technologies, Byjus with and annual package of 4-6 lakhs with a stipend of 25000 around.

KIIT Fest which is the biggest fest of my college which follows up by various other events including technical, cultural. There are various societies like dance and music, robotics,NSS, Culture programe exchange in South Korea,Udghosh for quiz related events, theatres and their various workshops.

It's a bit on the higher side. During my course of study it was 1,47,500 per semester. Which is quite more than the average fees of many of the college during that time. All total it is almost 12lakhs in 4yrs

Every branch topper was given a scholarship and the students from j&k were also offered scholarship. That's all I have the knowledge about various loans and various scholarships given in my colleges.

There were a number of worskhops conducted. There was society for every thing starting from art and craft, poetry, theatre, fashion music,dance in which not only Indian students but students all around the globe studying in the college used to participate,

I had opted for hostel. There were ac and non AC hostels and i used to stay in non-ac hostel. The rooms used to be very spacious with 3sharing. Food was given 4times a day that is breakfast, lunch, evening snacks amd dinner. We even had food courts in various hostel campuses.

Yeah. it has a alumni network where all the pass outs from the college are linked. Every year an alumni meet up is conducted in order to relive the memories of college and this reunion is being conducted by our college founder

I got the admission after qualifying the exam conducted by the college called KIITEE in the year 2015. After that councelling date was given on which I chose the subject I wanted to get graduated on. It's one of the most renowned deemed to be University.

Maximum teachers and professors are IIT passouts with Mtech and PhD degrees. They are very much approachable to students and very much cooperating. They are very helpful and guiding in providing theoretical and practical knowledge.
