Btech Civil Review

The only thing that I like about this college is it's eco friendly campus area and the thing that I don't like is it's street food that is very bad being a north indian I don't like the street food because of the spices and ingredients they use while cooking.

The course structure at a graduation level is damn good yet you have to work hard if you are interested in research for that one must have a proper basic understanding in the particular subject that will help you in research.

Being a student of KIIT you will definitely get placed but if you are from core branch you have to strive a bit hard as the placements for core company specially for civil company is very less. But you will definitely get placed.

Considering overall at university level events are very enthusiastic and energetic being it one of the best college in the Odisha. The university recently held the annual fest where various events held I. e innovative, technical, cultural, etc.

Being a private institute the college fees is quite expensive here. But the facilities that are been provided is worth those fees. My per year fees is around ?3. 8 lakhs that makes ?14. 8 lakhs for the whole graduation.

University provides scholarship for many students especially the ones who are coming from abroad and the nearby countries. They also provide scholarship to the meritorious students of the college who top in their respective branches.

Apart from studies if you are interested in extracurricular activities then consider yourself fortunate enough you will get ample of opportunities in exploring and excelling yourself in the dance, music, sports, etc.

I have opted hostel in the college and let me tell it is worth spending hostel fees. There are various categories for hostels too AC/Non AC and three bed or two bed. Hostel infrastructure is excellent here so do the facilities.

The alumni of KIIT UNIVERSITY is good many of them are outside persuading higher degree and focused on the research papers and innovative technology. Senior students are very helpful and interactive they are always ready to help and guide the students for upcoming things.

Civil engineering was always been my priority as I have great interest in building construction. I was getting IT branch in the counselling yet I choose civil because of primary interest and secondary I am weak in coding.

The faculty of the civil engineering department is quite nice as I am in 2nd year of the course we have not studied under the senior faculty who are very much good at their respective field and have excellent knowledge.
