Remarks

The college rules were bit strict. Our college was very strict in terms of attendance percentage which was 85% at the end of semester where many students struggle to maintain 85% attendance and pay fine for not maintaining the attendance

Course Curriculum Overview

I took mechanical engineering as my branch in BE which I was very passionate about. The lectures were very good in our bramch. Our college was officiated to VTU. So the course curriculum was according to vtu process and the exam pattern was also according to VTU Rules only

Placement Experience

Placement was good. Placements starts in the 6th semester itself. Placements are very good for Computer Science department but for mechanical engineering department placements were not that good. So mechanical engineering students also attend IT company since very few mechanical companies come for placements

College Events

Department wise competitions were conducted every where students can showcase their talent. College level feast was conducted every year for which students starts preparing before one month the event starts

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees is very less for Cet condidates. But for Management students it is very expensive. Fees forCet students will be around 60000 including cet fees but management students it will be around 4 lakhs

Fees and Financial Aid

College doesn't provide any scholarship but they help is to apply for scholarship provided by the state government. They will send the notice to class well in advance to apply for scholarship.

Campus Life

The sports room was full of sports equipment We had GYM facilities also which was very useful for students to develop their body. We were allowed to sports room only during the sports period since PE teacher was very strict

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors were very helpful they use to refer us to companies when we were in final year. The seniors were very encouraging and help to prepare for any inter college competition. I had very good friendship with the seniors

Admission

I wrote get exam after puc and then I got seat in pesit through cet counseling and then I took the admission order and reported to the college. The admission process was very smooth. The office staff were very helpful.

Faculty

The lectures were very friendly. They use to give us very good suggestions. They were always ready to clear our doibts. They were ready to stay even after the office hours if we ask any doubts. They were ready to any number of times until we understand

Likes

Academic Curriculum- they constantly upgrade the subjects which needs to be taught
Labs - very well equipped labs for all branches.
You can choose to drop a lab and do it in winter break or summer break

Dislikes

very less holidays only 3rd saturday is holiday and they dont give holidays for jayantis and all
Auto drivers near the college. this is pure daylight robbery

Placement Experience:

From your 7th semester you become eligible to get placed and it is mandatory to get internship before you get placed which the college helps you to get and around 400-500 companies visit, and a good amount of offers are made by them. The average package stands somewhere around 11LPA -12LPA and the highest goes to 50LPA-60LPA and the median stands around 9-10LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have been from diploma background, after diploma I joined this course as later entry (direct admission to 2nd year). In diploma also, I have studied the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) course. As I know the basic concepts about this course, it is easy for me now to understand the concepts.

Likes

Faculties are highly experienced and ready to help all the time
Good infrastructure with well equipped labs, library, sports
Adds extra curricular activities like teaching AI and other trending topics in college

Dislikes

Washrooms need to be clean and good to use especially for girls hygiene it has to be good
Hostel food is not that great and needs improvement in the quality of food
Thought schedule everyday hard to cope up with everything

Course Curriculum Overview:

Good the teachers find the best ways to make the subject interesting and teach us in the most interesting way they will help the weak students to feel the subject as a cake walk and help all the students out in the same way

Likes

Infrastructure is well established and good
Security for Students is very high and no ragging
Food is very good and feels like a restaurant

Dislikes

Lack of events and only the educational events
Only one playground for cricket and also remaining
security are very rude but some are bit friendly

Placement Experience:

Yes our college provide placements, from final year that is 7th semester they will allow for placements, Many companies visited our college like tcs, Cognizant, indegene, microland etc and average package is 400000 and highest is 1500000 it given by oracle, Nearly 60 percent students got that is either in both technical and non technical jobs, my plans to join a IT company

Campus Life and Social Interaction : Vibrant campus Life : The campus offer a dynamic environment with multiple student clubs , technicals societies , cultural fests ,and sports events students engaage in regular extracurricular activities.
Faculty Experience and Mentorship : Experienced faculty : The faculty at SVIT is often described as appreciable , knowledge, and supportive . professors are well - versed in there respective fields ,and many have industrial experience .
Placement support : Strong placement record: SVIT hasa good placement record ,with many students securing in top - tier companies like TCS , Wipro , Accenture, Infosys,. The college guidence through placement offers traning .

Dislikes

Collaborative Environment : Group project and assignment is core elements of curriculum with many course designed to involve group work and collaborative projects.
Cultural Activities : Are not celebrated more in semister
Collaborative learning : Communication barrier in larger teams especially working with different backgrounds or academic disciplines.

Placement Experience:

The placement at SVIT Bengaluru area quite impressive , especially in the technical field like Computer science, Civil, Electrical and Machanical Engineering.The college has a dedicated placement cell that students get the best opportunities for internship and final placement .At SVIT , Students typically become eligible for campus placement from the 7 th semester . However, the placement cell starts preparing students for interview and skill development from the 5 th semester onwards though mock interview , resume - building workshops , and personality development session.SVIT Bengaluru has strong industry connection , especially in the IT and engineering sectors .some of the companies that regularly visit the campus recruitment includes. TCS , Infosys , Wipro, Congnizant, Accenture,IBM, Capgemini ,Tech Mahendra , Amazon.High- package : The highest salary package offered in recent year was around 15 - 18 lakhs per annum for candidates . Average package: The average salary package offered is ar8 4- 5 lakhs per annum. The placement rates at SVIT is consistently high . On average , around 80-85% of eligible students get placed in good companies.

Less fees but wonderful knowledgeful experience

Dislikes

Particular teaching subject wise was not so clear.
Placement training courses coding wise was not that good.
Water facility sometimes was not good but it was ok nothing to dislike

Placement Experience:

1. From 7th semester onwards placement activities start. But from 1st semester itself they start training. 2. Windcare, Rinexx, Wipro, Infosys, A1 fence, Microdegree, Intellipath and so on. 3. Intellipath offers 10 lakh per annum and so on. 4. 85 percent students where getting placed. 5. To start my own venture.

Good ranking of college among other private colleges of India
Best location of college in the silicon valley of India
Various opportunities of internship to students

Campus area of the college is less than expexted
Conditions of hostels and mess is not good
Teachers and professors are not good in explaining concepts to students

Placement Experience:

From the end of 6th semester students become eligible for campus placemets.Many companies visit the campus including Oracle, UI path, etc offering students interships and full time jobs.The highest package offered to the student is 50 lakh per annum from UI Path and the average package of CSE branch is around 10lakh. Nearly 93% of students are placed in various companies.My plans after graduation is to grab a good on campus placement and look forward to my other goals in my life.

An honest review

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.

I applied for NITS, IITs, and Bits. I couldn't clear JEE advanced. I cleared mains and Bits, but I didnt get desired NITs and desired Bits and branches.I chose this college rather than other nits because of the Bangalore exposure you get. I had jee percentile of 97. I chose this college because of the exposure it provides and the curriculum and constantly improving placement and internship opportunities. I wasn't able to clear other exams due to personal health reasons. There are 5 types of admissions. Pessat- The rank should be below 5k to get any branch in the college preferably below 2.5k for cse, but this mode is not there from 2025. Jee mains- above 97% percentile.
