Remarks

No negative remarks only I will add to my statement keep on making future of lots to come on upcoming days and college should stand with pride with each students success story. Laying a milestone everyday.

Course Curriculum Overview

Great college with proper management and the college has scope of improvements in a student career. Provides equal importance to all the students with respetive of their need to improve field. Examinations are very fare.

Placement Experience

4.5

Brings all the big priority basis MNC'S for placement with great pakages and tries to place all the students through the placement process and holds the hand for its students till they get placed. They are upto mark to the expectations.

College Events

College fest consisting to 4 day bonanza and others like tournaments of cricket badminton tennis football dancing singing painting competitions. Fashion shows ramo walks. Creative competition. College roadies.

Fee Structure And Facilities

100000 per year is the fee structure and hostel mess charges are not included in it it has to be payed separately the transportation facility was well planned with spacious buses for all students from all over the city

Fees and Financial Aid

Orissa Engineering College doesn't provide any loan but yes they can adjust with payment mode with installments of fee paying and less fee structure for the students of backward classes. Understand financial needs.

Campus Life

It is a co - education sector so the ratio of male and female is equal in number. Polictics inside the college campus was not accepted by the management as all the students stands on same phase for the college management.

Alumni/Alumna

Great alumni management system celebrates everyyear with the alumni with a great coordination from all the members of the college and making it like a college festival. The college keeps the track of its all alumni.

Admission

My choice of branch and I know its a well know college. Odisha's first private engineering college. Provides a great education and the practical knowledge. Well trained faculties. All kind of facilities are available.

Faculty

Faculties are well trained and good to teach on with all resources. They provide chance for all students to improve their career. Notes are provided with a great whisper of knowledge leading to a great help.

My Campus Life

Placement Experience:

After your 7th semi you will be eligible for campus placements Several reputed companies such as infosys,Wipro etc have visited our campus around my graduation time. The highest package offered was 6 LPA by infosys for the role of Data analyst while the average package stood at around 2.5 LPA to 3.2LPA . Approximately 60% or 6.5 CGPA secured students will be eligible for placements through campus drives. After obtaining my degree, I plan to Pursue higher studies like Mtech in a IIT'S or Niit hence i prepared for Gate 2 yrs .But meanwhile i was preparing for to get a job to take the responsibility of family so i started my carrer a a software developer.

We specifically study about circuit analysis and electrical machines in our electrical engineering. In laboratory we study about how electrical machines work in different circuits and different connections. We also study about analog electronics circuit. An Honest Review of My college Experience

Placement Experience:

After 5th semester students become eligible for campus placements. There are many companies visited to our college like Tata,Wipro, TCS, Infosys and Accenture etc . Our highest package in computer science is 1200000 per annum and Average package is 500000 per annum. Percentage of students getting placement is actually varies by year and course and average 40 to 50% students get the placement offers . My plan is qualifying gate with a good rank and do my higher study mtech.

OEC- college worth every penny

The admission process was quite simple. Just needed to appear the counselling session of ojee. One can choose ojee marks or jee mains marks for appearing in counselling. Everything was done online. The eligibility of the mentioned course was passed 12th with physics, chemistry and math with an aggregate of 45% and overall percentage more than 60%. The application form of ojee and jee mains can be found in their respective websites. Application fees of both the exams are different. Then after the results, one have to apply for the counselling process in which you have to select different colleges and different courses of your choice in your preferred serial number. And then the choices have to be locked by visiting the ojee counselling nodal center. And once any college and course have been alloted one has to visit the respective college sites for document verification and payment of fees. Condition of my college today

Placements are good untill last year this year it's impossible to tell whether the college will continue or not because the director Suprita Pattnaik takes the fees from the students from time to time but don't care about them after that even in the worst conditions like the just passed cyclone fani which almost destroyed the college she came the other day only to see what damage occured in the building and she didn't cared if the students are alive or dead...Read More
