Remarks

College is good But not an ecofriedly campus. in my opinion as compared to my college. there are many nice colleges in the trivandrum city. but college has good infrastructure. and it is located in the heart of trivandrum city. wifi campus. good library.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course structure is so good. but the exams are little bit fast. exams are very tough. especially maths paper. students didn't get enough time to prepare well for the exam. we get only 3-4 month class for a sem and the exams are coming with no gap.

Placement Experience

Yes our college provides internship. many company from India offers placement. they are axis bank, technopar, infosys etc. We all go for internship in government department. we get placement opportunity in 4 th year of engineering

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees structure is too expensive. merit seat students doesn't face this hazardous situation but others will face it too badly. especially management and nri students. they have to pay1 lakh fee for one year.

Fees and Financial Aid

I got scholarship. bcoz i got allotment on merit seat. also the college management offer many scholarships. students get money in to their bank account. also they provide loan availability. good scholarship.

Campus Life

Good facilities for lab. conducted sports activities every year. and give prices for top players. there is no gender equality. all are treated same. in our college. our college conduct sports every year in stadium

Alumni/Alumna

We can't forget our senior students. They still communicate with us. they all are kind hearted people. But some of them are bad. we face some personal issues due to them. but probably most of them are good. i like them.

Admission

I got admission in the college by merit and government seat while by appearing kerala engineering entrance exam. i like civil engineering. so i choose it. college has nice atmosphere. course is awesome.

Some teachers are very well. they can help students well. but some of them are violent towards students. we didn't get enough freedom. Teacher explain class by providing notes. very well qualified teachers are there

IIIT KOTTAYAM - a Honest review

Placement Experience:

As seniors said the average package is around 10lpa.If you have descent skills and above 8 cgpa you will get this average package. If you upskill yourself with effort which many students do here then you can also get above 15lpa which many seniors got.The highest package was off-campus by an ECE Student in Google despite having cgpa around 6.He had very good skills as a full stack developer.

Placement Experience:

The placements here are quite good, but not great. Because only 50% of students in a class are getting placed. From S7 onwards the placements have been started for our department. But for other departments, from S8 only companies have arrived. For CSE department, many companies are coming which include Cognizant, SOTI, Mitsogo, EY, 6D Technologies, etc. Our senior batch students have placed at many companies in this. But comparing with other senior batches, the placements at our batch is really bad.

IIST - A good campus to live but with high restrictions.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is there in the campus.A lot of companies visit to the campus. From this year more private companies are visiting because of the breaking of bond with ISRO due to which students are getting good package.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.
