Good environment. Yet you need to keep on your track. A lot to distractions are present. You need to focus on what you have come to achieve. There are many opportunities here if you are intrested in something else besides studies too.

A normal 4 year course with 2 semesters each year. Each semester coantains two exams. Mid sem papaers carry 20 marks and end sems 50. 30 marks are awarded internally. Subjects and the credits they carry vary from branch tobranch.

something great about this College is its placement drive. Many companies come each year and recruit quite a handful. Yet again keeping the job is totally upto you. Interviews are held in the campus itself.

all the well known hindu pujas are celebrated. Yet not all of them guarantees a suspension of classes. Durga puja holidays are what we bengalis look for each year. And we are provided with so. Holi is a different story.if you go to classes one or two days before holi yiu may return all coloured.

Quite expensive. Yet holds a mini mal rate among other private engineering Colleges. It will be a Rs.1200000 educational fee. Hostel fee varies. For non acs it is around 42000 each year. Mess fees is 15000 each year.

There is a loan facitlity offered by the College at the time of counselling. If one is ranks less than 100 in the entrance examination he will get a 10000 ruppees scholarship for the year. Semester toppers also are awarded with the same.

kiit provides a marvellous infrastructure. There is a seperate campus made solely for sports other curricular activities. There are health centres provided to every campus. Labs are quite stacked with high end equipments.

Seniors are quite helpful. Ragging is quite taboo here. One know alumni is Bade from tsp. Well sometimes you have do some extra assignments to gain favour. But that pays off later on. If you are intereested in some other activities, seniors can help you too.

An entrance exam is held every year. Then a counselling session. I gave the entrance exam then was called for the counselling session. Counselling dates will differ with the rank you hold. Your name will come up and yiu will choose the stream you want.

quite friendly faculties. Many come from nice Colleges with great knowledge. Fact is you must be enthusiastic towards learning. There is no spoon feeding here. Do not make them angry and your cgpa is in safe hands.
