Remarks

The college is worth investing money and time. The roi is best among colleges in the region. being located in the heart of Mumbai sees a lot of attraction from different people in the industry which ultimately helps an individual with more opportunities

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is designed to match the top notch industry standards. The curriculum is subject to change every Year after a revision panel which consists of professors, industry experts suggests all the changes to match the disruption in industry. Exam patter is semester based. 2 semester in 1 year. 2 internal exams and one end semester exam

Placement Experience

The average package is 4. 5 LPA with Circuit branches having a 100% placement record. All the big companies from various domains of development, consultancy, product based, service based, construction, mechanical, electrical etc puts their presence during the placement season in the college

College Events

The college celebrates two main festivals in the domain of culture and technical Cultural Fest- Sattva is considered the best fest after mood Indigo of IIT Bombay in mumbai region. There's a participation from huge number of youth who wanted to show their talent. Technical Fest- this sees students showing their top class in technical field by display of top notch projects

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee is generally experience which ranges to Tution Fee of around 3 lacs for an year. Different semester has different fee structure depending upon the facilities provided in that respective semester. But on an average the fees is in total round about 12 lacs only for tution for complete course of btech

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't have any knowledge about this. But loans are easily accessible from any bank because of the image that NMIMS has created in the market of being the best. So any bank will provide loan facilities just by the name of college

Campus Life

Extra curricular activities aren't comprised at all. The college has the best cricket team amongst many colleges in the region. A dedicated sports festival is held in the college along with cultural fest which sees a massive participation from college students

Hostel Facilities

I didn't opt for hostel facility. This review is based on other people's reviews. There are few hostel taken up by the college management for providing accomodation to non Mumbaikars. The facilities are industry standards, with special care taken for all hygiene and other issues.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network is humongous. The alumni can be found in all the top companies holding very good positions. The college helds alumni meets regularly so that the college ultimately benifits from strong alumni network

Admission

NMIMS conducts an online exam by the name of NPAT which allows students to take admission to various school at NMIMS Pan india through merit scored in the exam. Post getting a rank, students are called for counselling where seat allotment is choice basis provided the seat in particular beach is available which again is decidee by rank secured after npat

The faculties of the college is the main plus point which helps students excel. The facilities hold a good amount of knowledge and experience in the subject they teach. The faculties are all open minded which encourages students to approach them in any case of subject difficulty.

Honest review if you wanna opt for this college

Likes

The girls to boy ratios is good, we get to see all girls equal contributing in the college
The faculty is good, they are very helpful and give good guidance
The boys and girls common room is good to get together with friends to chill and study

Dislikes

Faculty being good they are sassy and might ignore for a time to teach you that not everything will be entertained
The principal is kinda rude and his speech is too long
Well other activities like sports isn't support properly

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem students are eligible for placement Companies visited are tcs and few others i don't remember their names The average package is 5 lpa and the highest is 13 lpa Mostly 80-90% of students gets placement as they do a placement training for us amd prepares us for the placement exams and interviews and all My personal plan is to go abroad for higher studies but i am going to sit for placement if i get good package then i might not go to abroad for higher studies

PES College of Engineering: Overview of the college

Likes

The campus of the college is vast with a natural environment
Many facilities like library, sophisticated labs, and classrooms are provided by the college
The Teachers cover each and every point of the syllabus and guide the students.

Dislikes

The syllabus is a little bit outdated, that is some points in the syllabus may seems boring and not applicable in the real world.
The Teachers should use the right techniques for teaching which makes the students more engaging in the class.
The menu of the canteen must contain some health option in a budget friendly way.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is decent in the college as compare to other colleges of the city . many companies visited the college every year to hire the skillful engineers from the college and offer them a good amount of package. The option of the offcampus palcement is also there for the students of the other colleges.

I really liked the infrastructure of the college its very nice and has good environment .
DPCOE is famous for its sports , it has massive turf where kids of 4 to 5 age has their matches
Also i like my department , as i am an automobile engineering we need most practical knowledge , this college offers a big workshop just for us an also yearly event for automobile students . Also clubs are there which has reputation of national rank

Dislikes

I kind of felt that faculty can be biased sometimes also do not care what and how we want to study .
Watchman can be little rude sometimes , also informing that their are exam coming in next week are to be informed at leat 10 days before. I have a suggestion of preparing acadamic calender of year

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

College campus, it is big, not much conjusted, good nature friendly
Freedom upto some level, no uniforms, no ID compulsion unless it is an exam
Events,every now and then there are events in college, cultural club is also too good here👍

Dislikes

Faculty is not much well qualified or well trained I would say
Hectic curriculum, boring schedules and quite unlivable
Labs and classrooms are too old, infrastructure is very old

Placement Experience:

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student,and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.

Campus is huge but is mostly empty need of development.
Need of infrastructure and sports facility for students.
Need of contact no. Of emergency contact of the staff.

Placement Experience:

I talk with most of the senior and faculty and placement cell start of 3 rd year you will get internship opportunities and and in 4 th year you will get placement opportunity. But senior told me off campus placement preparation must be go on you will find good opportunity. Highest package is 12 lpa and average is 4 lpa is good for freshers.

my college is in rural division so i liked the nature and environment of the college most and the college is have rural position and college have bus facility so all the student from poor family are is admitted in this college
my college have bus facility for the students
college have good campus in rural area and the college is good

college have some students water issue for drinking

I like my college building,classes,labs.
Canteen is good.it provides good quality food.
Library is best. Very nice management and staff

Dislikes

Canteen is good but they must increase their staff.
Class should be sound proof.noice from outside disturbs.
Stationary staff should be increased and price should be decreased.

Placement Experience:

From sem 7 students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Accenture,Wipro, Microsoft, HyperVerge have visited college. In 2020 highest package was 30 lac per annum by Amazon. Last year only 40% students got the placement. I am planning for competitive exams after degree.

Some departments here were really great like ETC and Mechanical with a unique culture going on
AIML and AIDS being new branches here are still doing their job very well for the students

Dislikes

The Students section not really tends to help ,as i saw many financially weak students facing the problem of 1 time payment fees and their request for part payments option is always rejected
Infrastructure is decent but in summer season the water coolers are just useless there ,no cooler will give you cold water

Some courses were to the point like IOT was well designed and DSA too with java programming side by side ,still as i said AIML is new branch and needs much enhancements ,the areas where they can improve was always practicals and labs those were always taken casual as i remember

Hello, The infrastructure of the college is top class.
Their are multiple events in the college every month.
The faculty of the college are also well experienced as well as very friendly.

Dislikes

There are no AC in all the class only some of the class have AC

Placement Experience:

The placement percentage in my college is nearly 70-80%. The minimum package offered is 2.5 LPA and the highest is nearly 33 LPA . The average package is 4-5 LPA. Many companies vists are college as our college is NAAC accredited which has a grade of A+.

Admission process is merit based , based on the NMIMSCET for engineering students , The branch allotment and upgradation is again merit based during orientation. There are very less colleges in mumbai having civil engineering. This college is one of the best considering the infrastructure international linkage etc.I applied for Vjti and spit except this college.I choose this college over them because of the industry exposure and the connections internationally.I dis make into the other colleges in cet cap round but i wanted this college in specific because i found it more benificial with the amount of things it had to offer in this course over the others.After you give the entrance exam of the college you get your result mailed to you which has your merit number with that you get a counselling letter which has a date and time in it on which you have to take a demand draft of the course you want to the college then you go verify your documents and the you go and tell your preference to the councilor if you have the seat available in the course tou want they give you admission or they give you an option to be added to other branch for upgradation...Read More
