Review the college

Since I had joined college depending on that I would remark it as neutral. Because definitely its not like that what I had dream of. But though some things are missing and something are compensating it.

Yes.Its definitely hectic.But yes course structure is followed well.Regarding exam and labs you have InSem and EndSem exam per Semester and for labs you have your internal marks.Course structure do focus on research as well as on demand of job sector.

Placement record of PICT seems to be top in Pune.According to placement cell Average package for year 2018-19 went upto nearly 8.00 CTC.Companies which come for placement are phonepe,Deutsche Bank,Barclays,IBM,Persistent etc.

Cultural event is called ADDICTION.Celebrated for 3 days.Technical events are by different clubs like IEEE,ACM.Participation for this is nearly 2k to 5k.Most important is INC.Which is sponsored by MNC like Microsoft,KTM.Participation for this event reaches upto 10k.

Fee structure is feasible.Your fees depends o your category like whether you belong to open,obc,sc,st category.For open it is nearly 110000 rupees fee.For Obc category they have 50 percent off in there tution fee of total fees.

College don't provide you any seperate scholarship but you can avail that by applying dbtmaharastra portal.At time of admission college recommend you some bank where you can apply for loan.PICT have linked with Pune Cooperative bank.

Definitely engineering college you won't good gender ratio.But though compared its good.very few people are active about politics.From every religion students are here.As its technical college very few cultural societies are active but they are strong enough.like TEDX, art circle,DebSoc,MUN.

Yes they do help you.PICT have long and strong network of alumni.Seniors have their LinkedIn profile through which you can contact them.As well as in clubs you have good interaction with seniors.Many time in college seminars are organized to share experiences by alumni.

You have two options to get into PICT.Through MHT-CET or JEE MAINS.After result through a portal you have to upload your college preferences list.Then 3 rounds will be held and based on your rank you will be alloted your college.

Faculties are good.Many of them are PhD from IITs.They are well experienced.Some of them have more than 20 years experience.They always guide you in your tasks.Also help in getting internships.One of my friend did his internship in IIT Bombay on special recommendation by one of the faculty.
