The college is brilliant and respectable. It's is one of the oldest colleges of Assam and last year it turned 60 years and celebrated it's diamond jublee. The college is located in the mid town of Guwahati.
Course Curriculum Overview
The college curriculum is brilliant and the infastructure is also very comfortable and the college is located in the mid Town of Guwahati. The exam structure is in such a way- We have 6 semisters examination which are conducted every six months.
Placement Experience
I don't know about the placements that the college provide by myself but as I have heard from my seniors who have already passed out and are doing great in their respective field.They have great jobs in their hand and are happy now.
College Events
We celebrate Saraswati puja,Durga puja,Diwali, Holi and every other indian festival.we even have our sports week with every sport available.The college also conduct several other events like seminars and popular talks.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is very low and economic.Even for BPL students the course is absolutely free of cost.For non BPL students the fee structure depends on the course you have taken.I have my major in chemistry and my fee was nearly about 7000 per year.
Fees and Financial Aid
I don't know cause I have not applied for any of them.But I have heard from my fellow colleagues of several scholarship which provides you an amount varying from 300 rupees per month to 500 rupees per month for TDC and MSc students respectively.
Campus Life
We have sports week with every sports available.We have cricket, football, volleyball, carrom, badminton, basketball, jeveliin throw, hockey, lond jump, high jump, Shotput, running, sqimming, chess.
Hostel Facilities
I would rate the hostel infrastructure by giving 6 out of 10. The hostel is very very hold even last year we celebrated the diamond jubilee of the hostel.The total seat capacity of the hostel is 100.There are in total 33 rooms which are one, two, three, four and even five seated.
Alumni/Alumna
The senior students are very helpful.They are very friendly and help us a lot in many fields including studies and other topics. They alumni are very humble to us and are very good in their department.
Admission
First of all I had to fill an application online in the college's official website.After that the college will prepare a merit list and will call according to the merit list on the date of admission.I was called and I was verified by the college administration and finally I got my admission.
Faculty
The college facuty is brilliant.The professors are highly qualified and highly experienced.They all have done their masters with very high GPA from recognised universities and they also have their PHD.
