Positive remarks of college are the placements, course curriculum, infrastructure, labs, student-friendly events such as kiitfest and cultural fest are very good and are worth the money you are paying but the negative remarks of college is that the food in hostels is very bad and is cooked in an unhygienic way.

Our course curriculum is advanced in comparison to other universities as it covers the latest trends in technology and has many labs on the campus which are not on other campuses. The exam structure is basically every subject is of 100 marks mid sem exam is of 25 marks 15 internal marks and 60 end sem marks.

Placements and job opportunities in our college are very good as I am a current 4-year student and till December I have got to placement offers in two companies with decent packages and this is the great quality of our college. No college doesn't provide internships.

All ecrnts are celebrated in our college as all the festivals like Holi, Diwali, Eid, Christmas, Pongal, Onam, republic day, independence day, etc are all celebrated in our college with a lot of excitement and fun. Our college even has its own fets know as kiit fest.

Fees are very expensive at Kalinga institute of technology as currently, my fees are approx 16 lakhs for four years including all hostel and mess facilities. And as per my knowledge, there has been a fees hike in college leading up to 18+ lakhs.

Yes, the college offers many scholarships but to avail of that scholarship you have to be a branch topper and also good in academics, sports research, or any other talent. College also helps in availing education loans from banks.

Extracurricular activities are conducted in college on a timely basis and have many functions like sports day, cultural fest, music and dance festivals, etc. They are very nice and are organized very carefully.

Yes, I have opted for the hostel as my home is very far from college that's why I live in a hostel. The hostel is very good and comfortable and the hostel is very less as compared to all other big colleges and is affordable. But the food here is very bad.

Yes, our senior students and alumni are very helpful whenever they visit the college meetings, and interactions are arranged for all the students to gather and have interaction with them. They tell about today's leading technology and about placements.

Every year kiit organizes its entrance exam known as kiitee and I had appeared in that and got 15000 ranks then I appeared in counseling and got admissions in mechanical engineering. The branch depends on the rank obtained.

Best teachers are only available in the first year from there on in senior years no good teachers are not available.
